Hopefully Katie's pups would have the same temperament as Redd. Pups like Jace and Silver weren't alpha material.

>> Kira grabbed some wet moss from the corner storage in her den, setting Jace down first facing her. The healer dabbed his eyes with the moss, cleaning off the blood. She grabbed a few leaves that prevented infection and chewed them up, putting them on some fresh moss and then onto Jace's hurt eye. "This will probably sting, but it's going to make sure you don't loose your sight," she promised, praying that was true. She looked to Ruben. "Just make sure nobody besides Kim enters this den." It sounded more stern than her usual sweet voice, but the motherly fea was in healing mode, trying to protect this pup's vision. She held the ball of moss on his wound for a while.

>> Gravity smiled and put a little pep in his step. "I take it you like salmon then?" He teased. he hadn't ever had fish before, but from the looks of it they were slimy. He wasn't too sure that the taste would be better that the slim. "That sounds wonderful, all of the food. Not the bears." He smiled.

"Yes." Redd said. "That feeling." Flies began to buzz around the doe, but Redd didn't care. It wasn't his kill. Neither wad the wolf, but that was ok. He would have plently of chances to kill later. Rage was being awfully nice and interested in and too him, usually he had a stronger attitude.

Jace nodded, and allowed her to put the herbs on. Yes, it stung. Yes, he wished it would stop, but it would be worth it if he kept his vision.

"Eat these and keep that eye shut," she ordered kindly. The healer sighed and looked to Ruben with pain in her eyes. She shook her head. The healer didn't think he'd have sight after this.

Redd paused. "Yes." He said. "I should have thought that. The feeling makes you stronger, better and fiercer. Like I will be, when I grow up." Redd barked. "Don't you agree?" He asked, wanting to be sure that Rage was happy with him.

"Yes." He said, closing both eyes, eating everything, and lying down. He fell asleep... In his dream, he was completely blind. He could hear Estrella's voice, she said: "He is no use now, Kira." Then Kira, "Yes, let us get rid of him." And then the feeling of rushing cold water, and he woke, shaking.

Theo raised a brow at Lowell. He was interested if she had anything else to say. "Huh. Well if you say so." He said with a smile before swimming over toward the center of the lake. "You're pretty adorable yourself." He chuckled.

Ruben was a little taken aback by Kira's tone, but he did as he was told and sat near the entrance still looking in on the action. He watched Kira do her thing, which was pretty amazing in his eyes. Noticing the look he gave her he cocked his head, though he soon realized what she had meant. He felt bad for the pup, vision was something everyone needed and to even lose it in one eye would be devastating.

She let out a good healthy laugh and nodded "Yeah bears love fish, so its a bit of a compassion." She said with a smirk. "I like fish two, they have little bones though so you alway have to watch out for that, but its good lean mean, there is hardly any fat on the suckers." She said before trailing off when she saw her den and looked back at him. They where still a ways away from the camp. "Well this is me." she said and motions to her den.

"You can open them now," she said slowly, hoping that he'd be able to see. If not, then it would be terrible for his ranking as a warrior. She didn't know what Rage would say. Her eyes flickered to Ruben in fear for the young pup's life.

Ruben frowned and abandoned his post at the entrance to sit right next to Kira instead. He saw that the healee was worried and he really hated seeing her like that. "he'll be fine. Even if it does turn out bad he will learn to still be a great warrior." He wasn't great at comforting others, bit he hoped his word might help her even if it was just miniscule.
