He paused and chuckled softly and very shortly to then continue, Would you like to be my mate?" He asked as confidently as possible.

her ears flicked back in embarrassment at his words, then shot forward in surprise. "Y-your mate? Really? Yes!" she told him happily, rubbing her head under his chin as her tail swayed in happiness.

He smiled happily and his tail swished as she rubbed her head under his chin.

(It's alright, i'm not to sure either. Although I tried with Klaus just now. Is he just telling her he likes her or is he hinting that he wants to be mates?
With the humans, just say they go on all night.
