He smiled at Linala, then looked at Icarus. "Well, I know your capable of hunting without her. She will go without food tonight." He says with a smll sigh. He looked off at the horizon to see if he could spot any prey. "Try by the watering hole first... if their is nothing then cheek the perimeter. If you have to hunt beyond our territory then do so." He yawned and lay down, licking them both in between the ears for good luck on their hunt. {Wb}

She snorted, "Coro... come on, you know me... you can tell me the truth." She said, her eyes that were once full of rage were now soft and kitten like. She had grew up with these lions, and never had Coronus lied to her. Her face showed disappointment as she stared into his eyes. Her brown abd blue eye sparkled in the setting sun. Ulyca tail swayed in the tall dry grass as age waited for an answer, a truthful answer. {Wb}

Coronus

Coro whined as he noticed Ulyca's sad expression. His ears drooped and pressed against his skull, his eyes drifting away from the two lionesses in somewhat disappointment. He didn't want to lie to Ulyca, but he also didn't want to have to leave Amani. Ugh, why was he so sensitive all the time? That wouldn't be a good trait for a king to have. At this rate, he would never be a leader. "Alright, alright. I might have guessed all of those answers. Whether they were right or not, I didn't really know. We haven't exactly known each other for long." He grumbled, looking down at his paws.

Icarus

"Good." She sneered, her lips spreading into a devious smile that revealed several yellowing teeth. She got up, stretched, and then nodded to Krone before setting off to go and hunt by the watering hole. Icarus was the type of hunter who didn't stop until she had a meal that would make her leader proud, and today was no exception. She very much hated lions but wasn't one to disrespect her leader. Even if Kiru hated the king, she still respected the ranks and knew the only way to being a successful lioness was to act properly. Then, maybe when she had a high enough ranking, she could start a new pride. A better one who could take over this one. But she was far from that, and even when the thoughts sounded like a good plan, she knew deep inside that she'd probably never follow through with it.

He watched the first lioness go with a proud smile. He was glad that these were serious hunters, and not some cub that thinks he our she could hunt right off the bat. He watched the cubs as the lioness went off to hunt. Hopefully their was still some prey out their. He knew the watering hole would be small, so hopefully the herbivores thirst would drive then to that spot. {Wb}

She nodded, knowing that now he was telling the truth. She sighed, "Well... when your done here you must head back to camp. And you know I have to report her to the pride... she's a loner Coro. But good thing I'm your friend... because now I'm going against the rules for you and not telling Krone about this." She sighed, disappointed with herself. She hoped he would leave this longer and come home. She stood to leave, not wanting to know what would garden next.

Coronus

He whined, trotting towards Ulyca before quickly returning to Amani once again. He felt really bad now, and didn't know what to do. In the past he had noticed feelings for Ulyca were surfacing, but now Amani was here and he started to like her as well. What was he going to do?

Icarus

Once the light-golden lioness reached the watering hole, she immediately went into her hunting stature, crouching down below the tall grass and crawling very slowly to make herself discrete. She looked around hungrily, trying to find something she could kill. There were a few small antelope grazing just south of the Water. Those could be potential prey, but it would be hard to get them without having angry males run after her. She couldn't afford an injury.

He snarled as the young likes padded itty camp. He hated how she didn't show anything towards him as she entered. Krone leapt after her abd almost roared, "Its time to hunt Ulyca... where have you been?" He asked, his teeth showing and his eyes full of anger. {Wb}

She entered camp, passing Krone. Her shoulders dropped as she lay under a shady tree. Then noticed her king growl and leap after her. She lowered her head to the ground and hissed softly as he stood over her. "With Coro...I went looking for him..." she says, her body was up against the tree as he scooted closer to her. {Wb}

Coronus

He sat down on his haunches, panting from the heat. His large and furry mane didn't exactly help, either. He looked at Amani, then back to camp. Krone might be able to smell the lone lioness, and that new thought made him all the more afraid. "Listen, I want you to find a safe place to go. My king doesn't like loners too much from what I can tell." He told her before turning on his heels and running into the camp somewhat reluctantly.

Icarus

"Whatever, it doesn't matter." She grumbled to herself out of frustration. She had a killer headache that didn't exactly help. Icarus trailed alongside the edge of the large pool of water, trying to move at a fast pace but still managing to keep quiet at the same time. Fortunately, it wasn't long until she had reached a good spot to pounce on the prey. She'd have to do it fast though, to prevent getting charged by the males.

He snarled and walked up to the jutting rock next to the cave and scented the air. He could shen the male known as Coronus, and something else. He couldn't sense it from so far away. He looked back at the cowering lioness, "Go hunt by yourself... and bring back something fur everyone to eat...do not fall me." He growled. Then went into the cave to wait for his super. {Wb}

She nodded to the king and wiggly went on her way. She snarled and sliced at small saplings, sending most of then flying. Soon she was face Rio face with Coronus again. She looked down at her paws, a fresh scratch was on her back from a stone that dug into her as she was up against the tree from Krone. She sighed. {Wb}

Coronus

He looked at Ulyca somewhat shyly, looking just above her head into the camp. He nervously nodded to her, ready to walk away until he noticed the large scratch on her back. His brows furrowed in question. "What happened?" He asked, walking up to her to take a closer look at the scratch. "Are you okay?"

Icarus

She readied herself, watching as one of the younger antelope traveled farther away from the herd. She took a few steps forward, letting it walk. Once it stopped to graze, she pounced at it and began tearing at its neck almost immediately. She growled and thrashed her claws at its sides. The small antlers protruding from its head clashed against her forehead, which needless to say it hurt a lot. Once she felt the body go limp, Icarus spent no time to look at the rest of the herd and was on her way back to camp.

She shrugged, "Just a sharp rock." She says, shuffling her paws in the dry dirt. "I have to hunt by myself now... see you later I guess..." she huffed abd walked around Coro. Her tail swayed, the tip touched his back leg as she walked past him. She barley scented the air, not in the mood for food anymore. She wanted to look back at her friend but didn't want to look any more pathetic. {Wb}

Coronus

Coro couldn't help but feel as if Ulyca was mad at him. He whined, trotting a little ways after her. Male lions were more for protecting the pride and their territory, not for hunting, but he didn't care. He wanted to make things right with his friend and maybe, just maybe make it possible to get Amani into the pride. He ran up to the lioness, pulling at her tail softly. "I'll come with you. What Krone doesn't know won't hurt him."

Icarus

She rushed back to camp as fast as she could with some troubles. The antelope kept getting in the way of where she was placing her paws and it was beginning to annoy her. Fortunately, the pride wasn't too far away from her. She could see it off in the distance. She repositioned the kill and then continued walking. It wasn't too long before she was there, trotting around to find her king and present him with the meager prey she had managed to kill. It could last them for today, but probably no longer than that.
