Coronus

Coro found himself purring as his eyes constantly studied this lioness. He took a cautious step forward, shaking out his mane and fur just to show off and let 'Amani', as she had called herself, just who she was talking to. He hadn't really been specifically searching for a mate, at least not for today, but this was a very fortunate find in his hunt. He hadn't seen a lioness in a while, especially not one so calm and beautiful. Coro was quite the charmer, he'd flirt with any lioness he found that was within his standards and that stayed along to listen to him. Today wasn't an exception, either. "Beautiful name, my dearest." He purred, taking another step. "I am Coronus, you can call me Coro if you'd like."

He stretched and lay down in the sun, he panted softly as he licked a paw. Chewing on the pad to get rid of any rocks or clods of dirt caught in between his paw pads, that annoying him greatly. He kept looking up to see if he can spot anything off in the distance. Krones' belly rumbled as night soon began to fall, he would have to send his lioness' out to hunt soon. He yawned, then stood and gave a bellow. Telling the lioness' it was time to hunt.

She stood and wandered around, looking for any small prey she could use for dinner. She wasn't very hungry but knew she had to eat. As she wandered further into the brush she spotted two lions conversing. She squated low and watched, every muscle in her body was as still as could be. Her tail tip twitched as she watched them through the tall dry grasses.

He stretched and lay down in the sun, he panted softly as he licked a paw. Chewing on the pad to get rid of any rocks or clods of dirt caught in between his paw pads, that annoying him greatly. He kept looking up to see if he can spot anything off in the distance. Krones' belly rumbled as night soon began to fall, he would have to send his lioness' out to hunt soon. He yawned, then stood and gave a bellow. Telling the lioness' it was time to hunt.

She nodded at her King as she got bakc up from where she had just flopped down onto her side to rest for a moment. Purring deeply, she nudged the cubs to hide at the rocks while she went out to hunt for the Pride.

The young lioness tilted her head to the side a little as she watched the lion male closely with her beautiful eyes sparkling and flashing as she watched him closely for a moment then ducked her head down to study her paws for a short second. She purred softly a little bit as she looked up at the much taller male lion and tilted her head to the side as she said "Alright then, Coro. So...Have any other lionesses yet?" she asked good-natured as she walked closer to him.

He finally approached her, his tail constantly and excitedly swaying beneath him. "I don't actually, I am indeed a bachelor." He replied, trying to find the confidence to brush against her, but that would take a little more time and a little more effort. "I've been searching for a little while, not very long." He paused, sniffing the air between them. "I was hoping to find one soon." Coronus chuckled, hoping she got what he was hinting at.

She let out a growl as she leapt between the two love birds, "You two should pay attention to your noses!" She snarled. "You two should know your on a great kings terittory." She said as she circled both of them. Her shoulder muscles rippled underneath her sleek pelt. Her eyes glittered with fear, excitement, and rage. These two should have really known better.

He hissed loudly as their moment was interrupted by a rude lioness prowling around the two. "Relax, you impudent kitten. I'm aware of where we are, and I can proudly tell you I'm apart of this pride." Sure, he might have been a member, but he seemed to have forgotten that Amani was none other than a loner himself. Wanting to cover up the fact that he was wrong, Coronus cleared his throat and tried to quickly think up a smart reply. "And this lioness here is an old friend, no threat at all." He lied for lack of a better answer. He looked at Amani, winking at her subtly to let her know he was just trying to keep her safe.

Icarus

Icarus yawned, stretching out her aching body and limbs as she heard Krone's call, signaling their beginning of a hunt. She mumbled a few profanities before trotting over to her leader. Her tail was arched slightly, just to show that she wasn't to be messed with or talked to other than to be given orders. Kiru sat in front of Krone, head cocked and one brow raised in slight annoyance. "You called?" She mumbled.

He looked at the lioness before him, "It's time to hunt Icarus, you Linda, and Ulyca...will hunt. Speaking of Ulyca, where is that cub brain?" He said, almost in a scowl. {Wb}

She huffed, "Oh really? Then answer these questions: What's her name? Where's she from? Her favorite food and color? What's her personality? Hmmmm?" She asked, she always had feelings for Coronus but never had the guts to tell him. And now he was flirting with a loner, pathetic. She could tell he was lying.

Coronus became scared as Ulyca spat out a large line of questions. It couldn't hurt to try, right? If he got anything wrong, hopefully Amani would just pretend like it was the truth. "Name? Amani, she's from my home pride, her favourite food is..." He glanced at the golden lioness nervously, "Gazelle." Coro was probably getting each question wrong, apart from her name. Wow, he was bad at this. "And her favourite colour is blue." His heart was racing and he was beginning to pant as pressure weighed down on him, but he still tried to look confident in his answers.

Icarus

Icarus snorted, chortling in ironic annoyance. "Like I know," She spat, moving to a laying position. "Not like I care, for that matter. We could do just as well without her." Kiru never thought that being compassionate towards anything or anyone was important or necessary, therefore that thought lead her to be very pompous and care-free of anyone's feelings.

The lioness growled as she looked at the intruding other female then glanced back at the older lion male once more as she tilted her head to the side a little bit and blinked her eyes as she watched the female then focused her attentions on the male Coro once more. She snorted as she rolled her eyes at the lioness, then said "Yes, that is right. Coro is a friend..." She then blinked as she looked up at him and said "That...that is correct." She loved gazelle because her mother had said that Father had always brought that for her, and it was one of the vague few things she remembered about him, he always smelling of it. And blue, well because her mother had had blue eyes.

The lioness nodded as she looked up at her King and softly said "Yes, my King..." then glanced over at Icarus and softly said "Shall we go now?" She had never cared much for Ulyca. -wb-
