You were a show horse- a pretty thing the humans put on display for their gain. They protected you, sheltered you, fed you. They also restricted your limits, and held back the one thing you had always desired- freedom. Finally, the chance came. Your owners left the stall door open at night, enabling you the chance to escape. Do you take the risk to become a free horse; a wild horse? Or do you stay behind to the soft life you have always known? The time is now, make your decision before it's to late.

This is it- the wild. The land you had only heard of by stable tales; the land you had only had a glimpse of from the edge of the gleaming white fences that used to cage you in. This seemingly fictional paradise has become a reality. The land is beautiful and thriving, with rolling hills and shimmering lakes. The threat of the humans still remain, but now that you've had it- the taste of freedom- you're never going back.

❖ always follow cs rules.
❖ be active. try to post at least once every three days. it gets boring when the rp gets down to two or three members yet ten are a part of the rp.
❖ this is an arabian horse rp. the only horses i will accept are arabians and arabian mixes.
❖ there should be more mares than stallions, so please make two mares to every stallion.
❖ please do not have your mare be in your bachelors herd. only one of your mares may be in a herd. i will tolerate siblings, but i would rather there weren't any.
❖ don't start out as a motherless foal, as others are unlikely to take you in and your character would die. you may rp as your own foal.
❖ this isn't a semi-lit rp, but i would appreciate if you would try to write two to three lines per post, wb as an exception.
❖ no horse is perfect. your horse will get injured and will die someday. remember, horses are fleet animals, and typically they will run from danger rather than stick around and fight.
❖ typically older mares and stallions will win fights. if they are around the same age, please pm who will win or ask me.
❖ mares do not get jealous over one another over the lead stallion.
❖ foals will be born three seasons after the mare is covered
❖ don't try to steal mares from another herd if their lead stallion is not online or knows about it prior to your post.
❖ your mare will not hate a stallion for snaking them. it is completely normal and they will accept it.
❖ colts and fillies are generally kicked out of the herd once they reach the age of two to prevent inbreeding.
❖ once your horse reaches the age of fourteen, please have them pass away, since horses don't normally live very long in the wild.
❖ have fun!

i will provide a very basic form, but it is highly encouraged that you spice it up or use your own!

The arabians live in a vast land full of rolling hills and steep mountains, with a long valley with a river and seeral streams running in between were most of the horses stay during the spring and summer time into the fall. During winter, many of the horses go further up hill towards the forests to take shelter from the chilling cold. Dangers also lie here, so they must remain alert for predators lurking among the shadows.

Seasons change every ten days.

The air is crisp and cool, and new life is born. The frost is gone, uncovering the meadows of the valley. Mares covered from last year foal, while others are in heat. Water is plentiful with occasional showers and the rivers overflow with water melted from the previously snow capped mountains.

☼ __ Ｓｕｍｍｅｒ __ ☼

The air is hot and humid. Water sources begin to run dry from the lack of rain, common thunderstorms may cause forest fires to rise in the valley. The days are longer and the nights shorter. Many mares are still in heat, and some late foals may be born.

☀ __ Ａｕｔｕｍｎ __ ☀

Cooler weather returns, and light drizzles occur here and there. Water is less scarce. Few mares are in heat, and no foals are born. Some animals begin to go into hibernation, and the horses make their journey into the mountains to seek shelter for the harsh cold to come.

The air is fiercely cold and snow blankets the ground. Food and water is scarce, as most of it is locked up in ice. Any lone mares and bachelors without a herd will die, as will any early born foals. No mares are in heat.

Konani's mother was born and raised
in Hawaii as a show horse. However, she was shipped
to the land where the arabians now live and set free.
She joined a herd, but ran away once she was with foal.
Konani was born a loner. Her nickname means "bright" in
the Hawaiian language, and it fits her perfectly. Even when
she was a young filly, Konani was a very intelligent mare.
Though she is gentle and quiet, hardly speaking her opinion
on things unless it would otherwise be dangerous. Her and her
mother stayed together, but her mother, not being much of a
wild horse, was taken away by humans, leaving Konani to fend
for herself.

Daelia. A pretty name for a beautiful horse. It was
given to her by the humans who once owned her, and the mare
loved it enough to keep it. Daelia can be humble when she chooses
to be and hardly boasts about herself and her beauty, though she
tends to brag at times. She is kind and feisty in the same way;
a bit of trouble for the stallions who wish to earn her into their herd.
She was born and raised a show horse- one that earned her owners
a lot of money and praise. However, Daelia despised the life. She
always dreamed of being a wild horse, running free in the open plains,
and made that dream into a reality when the humans left her stable
door open one night.

whom named her. They intended for her to be a show horse,
but it never happened. When she seemed worthless to them,
they set her free to the open plains. She adapted quickly and joined
a herd, where she had a few fillies and colts, but the lead mare
did not like her and kicked her out. Not much else is to be said about her.

Pocahontas is a gentle mare with a kind heart. She was born wild into a herd, her name a
mixture of her sire's and dam's; Painted Sky and Proud Heart. She was
once part of a herd- the lead mare- but when she was with foal, one
of the mares decided to take this as her chance to take charge, kicking
Painted Heart out.

Unforgiving Champion is a mash between his father and mother's names:
Unforgiving Soul and Champion Spirit. He is a wild born horse with power. He once
had a strong herd going, but he was captured by humans. Upon escaping, he sought
to create the largest herd in the valley. Older horses often call him naive and vain,
but he does not care. He sees mares as trophies instead of living things, and will do
anything to get them.

Zodiak is more of a laid-back horse. He is young, and knows that
he'll have to be gentle if he is to gain any mares. He is ambitious, but it has not
driven him to cause harm to any horse. He was born in captivity, but hated the life
and soon escaped, becoming a wild horse.
