Konani tossed her black mane and let out a soft nicker. She gazed out at the open plains before her with her gentle dark brown eyes. Many horses were dotted about, each minding his or her own business. She swished her lightly scented tail, letting out another nicker to any nearby stallions.

Golden Rose was born on an average farm, never knowing her father. When she was about 4 years old, the farm had been shut down since the man who runned it died of old age and didn't have any family willing to look after the farm. She was put on the market along with her mother Wild Lady. Sadly, they were bought by different people, and the woman who had bought Goldy set her free into the wild.
