Bear;

Bear jumped out of the kennal pumped. He dug into some snow and pushed his head in it, grabbing a hard piece of kibble. He ate it while the cold and soft breeze pushed into her face. He shook his head and wagged his tail looking around. The fur on Bear never made him self cold, unless he was in a freezing room. He barked; "Morning everyone!" he layed on his side in the snow. He walked off to the food and grabbed his, eating it slowly. Bear trotted off and layed in the snow. He was daydreaming about the race with the other team, to busy for thinking about anything else.

Skye;

Skye was still in her blanket when the kennal door opened. She was to comfy in her bed. She had a little nap and woke up when someone shook her cage. She shot up awake and yawned. She got out of her bed and yawned. She barked as the human patted her head and gave her the cookie. She ate it all and shook her pelt; as it got snowy while she was sleeping. Skye sat down and licked her paws looking up. Snow was coming down slowly and she sighed. Skye went back in her kennal for a sec getting water. She put her blanket over her chew toy and walked out again, she was ready for today.

Nanook gently nodded to him. "Good morning," he said softly as he glanced around. "Big day, in countless minutes we'll be let out for one practice, then a race." Nanook said as he glanced around his kennel bars. A swift cold winter breeze greeted him. He sneezed a bit. Glancing around the scenery. He sighed to himself, sitting down with his tail nicely curled. His brown and blue eye squinting like normal. He scanned the area of the kennel, one window was open. "Those humans left that window open all night! no wonder I couldn't sleep!" Nanook growled lightly, staring at the dusty window. He started to pad in circles, hearing the humans talk louder and louder every half minute. He could see there shadows from there heavy boots. He scented the air, knowing that less then ten minutes, those humans would unleash him from the cage and let all the dogs fire out for a practice, then there team, Team Hurricane, would win the years competition.

Nanook got a bit jumpy for a second. Remembering last year when they had won there successful race. He started to pace back and forth as he grumbled to himself, knowing that there we're going to be more dogs on there team. "What is taking those humans so long?!" Nanook barked furiously, watching there shaodows slowly disappear.

Kyana yawned silently, her pink tongue lolling out from her muzzle as she stretched her long, tan and black legs on the warm, comfortable bed. Her tail wagged and she crouched, padding slowly to her boy to nuzzle him before she was off. The boy had grown since she was a pup, but the two were still a great pair and even greater friends. Hopping down, she swiftly made her way out the door, down the stairs to eat a quick meal which had been left for her by her boy's parents, and finally outside to the crisp Alaskan air. She closed her bright blue eyes, enjoying it for a moment, before she was off again. The sun was just barely breaking over the horizon, exploding the sky in beautiful hues of pink and orange, though by the time she reached the rest of the team, it would be high in the sky.

Though most of the dogs lived in the kennels, she lived with her human and his family, waking early each morning to go to practice. She had grown used to it, and had even come to like the morning.

The snow crunched beneath her paws, leaving a trail behind on the familiar path she had taken since she was a pup. Soon, the large building came into view, and she could see the rest of her team just now waking up as the sun began to rise higher into the deep blue sky. The first up was Skye, and Kyana dipped her head in greetings as she approached. "Good morning, Skye. Had a good sleep?"

He nodded and trotted around as snow prints followed him, they we're a little dug deep, he got stuck a little. He looked at Nanook; "Yup" he replied and sat down in the snow. The breeze was getting colder each time it swept by. Bear layed down and layed on his side looked at a deer. "Must of wanted us to have fresh air" he said. "Or freeze our tails off" he said and looked at him. She got up and saw the door open, all the humans came out, than the musher. He barked at the musher and turned in circles. "Lets train already!" he barked again.

Skye;

Skye looked over at Kyana. "Morning, and I guess, other than people walking in-and-out and others barking and whining, I guess I did" She said and sat down looking at the sunset. The sun was so beautiful. "So beautiful" she said to Kyana and layed down looking up at the sky again before getting up for the food the humans set up. She walked over, the snow making sounds and footprints as she walked. She put her snout in it and started to eat. She finished and lipped her chops before walking back to the main area.
