Pearl slowed her pace. She could now simply trot over to the brute.
She let out a chuckle. "Taken down by the almighty thistle." She joked playfully.
She watched as the brute tried to free his foot. She saw her opportunity and
lunged at him. Her aim was spot on and she landed right onto of Aero. She
struggled a bit to pin him down. She had to give it to the brute, he was strong.
She snapped the air close to his face and glared at him quiet seriously, almost
as if it was no longer a game. She glared closed as if she were to actually bite
him. Not a moment after that, she kicked the thistle. The thistle shook, hopefully
enough to shake his foot free. She jumped away from the brute. "I've been caught
in thistle a few times. Try to get your foot out slowly." She watched the brute
seeing if he'd listen.

Aero laughed as she went sarcastic on him. He looked into her eyes and she leapt on him, confusion and choking down a laugh, trying not to make the Fae snap. He squirmed underneath Pearl, growling playfully. Aero nodded, smiling and he struggled lightly and slowly pulled his hind paw out. It snapped free and he snorted at himself.
"Thanks!" heesmiled and narrowed his eyes playfully. He darted away, wincing slightly as his hind paw touched the ground, but he ignored it.
"We never finished the race!" he laughed, turning he head towards her quickly.

Pearl nodded towards Aero as he thanked her for the help. She'd know just
what to do from experience, she used to be a loner before she joined this pack
and she recalled the same thing happening to her once or twice. As the brute
challenged her to another race she laughed a little. "You just can't give it up!"
She shouted after him as she bolted after him. Her speed no faster than it had
been before. Although, she was having trouble keeping up this time. She must
have gotten a late start because she had to follow her scent rather than her sight.
Soon, she lost track of him. I really need to work on my speed. She thought to
herself. As she was trying to regain his scent she caught a different one. It wasn't
familiar to her, a loner perhaps. She started to follow it.

she had been searching for a scent. "Over here." She said quietly, but loud
enough for him to be able to hear. She waited for him to arrive, trying to
catch the scent again.

Pearl jumped a little as he nudged her. She had been so focused on finding
the strange scent again that she hadn't heard him approach. She turned to him
and sniffed the air. She picked it up, and by the looks of it, so had he. She looked
at him for answers even though he was probably as clueless as she was. "What do
you think?" She questioned. "A loner?" She prodded some more.
