so, basically, this is just like any other wolf or warrior cat roleplay, -- but with birds.
of course, you don't have to of ever participated in a wolf or warrior cat roleplay to participate in this one, because it's pretty straight forward.

there are two opposing flocks in the forest named apple creek forest. the entire plot is for the two flocks, who despise each other, to survive, with occasional bumps in the way, such as forest fires, humans, predators, and battles between the two flocks. quite easy and simple.

basic rules → obviously, all tess's rules apply. this means, no swearing, keep content below PG-13, fade to black, no gore scenes, only one picture per form, ect. I also expect everyone to remain kind to each other at all times, so no OOC fighting, give recaps to people who ask for them, and please, attempt to include everyone. seriously. for depth on the last two, i will provide a recap page for major events on the front page, but i might miss something. so, when someone asks for a recap, one of the next three people who post need to at least direct the person who asked to the front page. for including everyone, i realize it is not everyones job to include everyone. but please, if someone is asking to jump in, at least try.

joining → yay! so, you've decided to join. there will be unlimited spaces in this roleplay, however the "higher ranks" might not be as open. this roleplay will be first come, first serve, so if you'd like a certain rank, but you're afraid someone will catch it before you, i suggest reserving it. i will hold reservations for 48 hours, unless you ask for more time. if you do not post within your time frame, i will drop the reservation. when you join, please make your own form. it doesn't have to be extremely pretty, -- it can be super simple. but making it look nice is always encouraged. c:

characters → this is a bird roleplay, so attempt to keep the birds at a realistic species for this roleplay, so no penguins or sea gulls. those species wouldn't dwell in the forest. i will decide if your species of bird would fit into this roleplay. i also will decline owls, ducks, raptors, ect. i love all these birds, but please, only small birds such as finches, robins, blue jays, ect. also, before joining, please make sure that the flock is open, rank is open, and gender is open. i will close any of these when there are too many of one. also! no god-modding or perfect characters. you must have personality filled out with a few traits, and at least one flaw.

literacy → all literacy is allowed! the most i expect is two sentences with proper grammar and punctuation. however, considering this is such a small requirement, i will not accept writers block. two sentences is very easy.

activity → please do not join if you will not be at least a bit active. by active, i request at the least one post every other day. this is very simple. if you will be gone for a while, please notify me. if you are absent for 72 hours without notice, I will PM you. if you are still gone for another 24 hours after i have sent you a message, your character will be taken down. you can always re-join! however, there's a slight chance that your character's original position was taken, if you played a high rank.

drama → drama is welcomed and encouraged! this includes forbidden romance, fires, deaths, ect. however, keep tess's rules in mind, and do not allow the drama to center around you. if you would like a major plot twist, such as a fire or a cat raid, then please message me first so i can approve. if you want to kill off someone's character, you must PM them. also, too much drama is not a good thing. if there's just been something major, wait at least 5 - 10 pages. if there hasn't been much drama for a while, i may put up a poll suggesting some plot twists.

quitting → let me just say that quitting is OKAY. i will not think of you as any less of a person. i swear. maybe you just got bored of the roleplay, i get bored of roleplays too. however, what is not okay is leaving without notice. please, pm me or even post it on the thread that you are quitting. i promise you, you'll be just as amazing as when you joined. c:

hello! we reside on the mid-eastern side of the forest, right next to a large meadow which is just outside the middle of the forest. the meadow makes it easy to fly over to the other side of the forest, where we can find any sort of worms and berries we need.
here is our tree camp. it's large enough to fit just about every bird. over there, we have our leader's nest. a branch over, we have our second-in-commands nest. the scouts and warriors share their nests in the same branch, but their nests are much higher. our trainees sleep in nests a few branches down.
our healers, however, stay in a small hole in the middle of the tree, closer to the ground. that way, all the injured birds don't have to worry about being outside during a windy day or anything. our nursery for the mothers-to-be is the same way. and, yet again, the same rules apply with our wise-ones nests.

welcome to the brook flock! we live right near the western side of the forest, which is right near the stream that divides our flock from blossom flock. if you go straight west, you'll run upon the nearby lake. but don't go to far, or you'll stumble upon the humans city.
this is our tree camp. the leaders nest is right here, while second-in-commands nest is just a branch below. the scouts and warriors nests are much below the leaders and second-in-commands nests, who sleep at the top. the trainee's nest are on the opposite side of the tree from the scouts and warriors.
the healers and injured birds reside in this hole in the tree. the nurseryis the same way, but in a branch. and lastly, our wise-ones put their nests right here.
