❝The female awoke and checked on her three pups. It was then that she noticed how cold Cali was, the pup wasn't moving no matter how much she nudged her. A quiet whine escaped the female before she picked the still lifeless pup up and quietly and quickly headed out of the den and camp. Phoenix headed towards the further parts of the territory and dropped the dark pup on the earth before she started to dig. She buried her before she headed back to camp in haste, going back in the den and plopping down heavily before she curled around her two remaining pups and closed her eyes.

Ryker noticed the warmth of his mother had left and he began to cry out. Soon she returned, but he was by her legs. He cried out, trying to follow the scent of milk but not succeeding.

Kit awoke with a yawn, believing she was the first one awake. She began to exit her den when she saw Phoenix carrying a limp pup into the forest. Kit ducked back into her den, realizing the pup was dead. That pup was one of her half-siblings. Kit squeezed her eyes shut, whining silently. What if one of her pups died? She looked at her stomach, not noticing Phoenix reenter camp and go into her own den, and whined.

Ariadne sighed as she walked to the food pile [er something like that cx]. She grabbed the hind leg or a deer and dragged it off a bit so she could eat. She gently got to her feet not wanting to disrupt her unborn pups. She still needed to talk to jason about names but decided she might have a while.

The brute blinked, as he padded back into camp from the forest, as his eyes flickered around. He spotted Ariadne, and padded over to her slowly. "Hey. How are you? Well, how are you feeling?" He asked.

Zachk yawned, waking up. He decided to bring Phoenix the fawn that Luna had caught for her. He walked over to the kill pile and started to drag it towards her den. He soon arrived and dragged it into the entrance. She had her eyes closed, so he thought she was asleep. Zachk smiled.
