Kit returned to the den with some water that she had collected on a large leaf. She poured it over Christopher's wounds, then his face. She ran off again, returning moments later with some cobweb. She wrapped the worse wounds with the cobweb. She was glad her mother was a nurse wolf before she died and taught Kit how to help heal wounds. Kit then looked at Fir. "Thank you," she said, nodding. She flicked her tail to Fir as a way of saying 'come, let's leave'. Kit exited the den, knowing Christopher would awaken before the day ended.
