the strong gusts of wind blow into your mane, a wonderful smell of grass wafts into your nostrils. you are free in the open meadows, nothing to disturb you, just peace. years and years have passed, horses have been caught time and time again. this time is different, you have escaped once and for all. the wooden fences are gone, the horrible smell of humans are gone, only the smell of fellow equines are near. your herd mates surround you, you feel their body warmth. at last, it is quiet and peaceful, never to see those dreadful humans again. there are still threats of large predators, wildfires, and whatever the wild land has to offer. but, as of now the wild horses rule the vast land, never to be touched by a human hand again.

» realism ;;- please try and use body language most of the time, talking will be used rarely. horses do not get jealous, they don't throw a fit about it, it is the way of life. as for snaking, a mare can rarely escape a stallion, the stallion may get hurt though. also, it is very hard for a mare to leave a herd, the stallions will most of the time snake them back. as for fighting, there will absolutely be no power-playing, god-modding, perfect characters. you will get cuts and scars, you will never come out a a battle clean. this rule is also towards coat colors and eye color, there will be only natural colors, no purple, red, pink, ect. this goes for breeds as well, there will be no draft breeds here as they would have a hard time surviving. one last thing, the height of a horse only goes to .3 there will be no .4, .5, .6, ect.

» spring ;; - the weather is mild, sunshine with occasional rainfall. mares are in heat which means it is breeding season. stallions are growing very protective of their mares and are gathering new mares to breed with. pregnant mares from last season are delivering foals.

summer - the weather is very hot so, herds are moving to settle near the water for a while. at the beginning of the season, some mares are still eligible for breeding, and there is a chance they may still get in foal. some mares may deliver late foals at the start of the season.

autumn - the weather is cooling down again, yet still mild, herds will want to find shelter for the upcoming cold. it is usually windy and rain is starting to fall every few days. mare's stomachs are now swelling and most likely won't be in heat.

winter - the cold is finally here, there are big chances of snow and hail and often rain. mares are now heavily pregnant, will not be in heat, and some may deliver early though it is likely that the foal will die from the cold. food is also growing scarce at this time.

» Personality Duchess is a very docile mare. She is quite obediently and rarely objects to anything. She can come off as submissive but only towards stallions. The mare is a quick thinker and a stubborn mare when she puts her mind to something. Duchess doesn't like to be pushed around and is dominant around younger mares and liable to chase off a younger mare if she proves to be a nuisance. She enjoys a good run when it's needed but also knows her place if she is challenged by a older mare in any way shape or form.
» History Duchess was a accident on a well known stud ranch. A wild stallion had managed to steal one of the thoroughbred mares and bred with her before the people managed to catch the duo. When she was born, she was treated as any other foal on the ranch and simply grew up, though she was sold off at the age of two. Someone off in the wilderness, her new owner penned her up and broke her, keeping her there for a good six years before a herd of mustangs came through and she jumped the fence and followed the herd. Chrome's breed is unknown as his parents were mixed in bloodlines through there is Mustang running through his veins.
» Personality Chrome's behavior is as reliable as weather. He is a harsh and mean stallion towards others of the same sex. This stallion is rough along the edges and will do anything to gain a mare into his herd. He is cunning when it comes to getting what he wants and he is fairly persistent. Chrome will generally give out a affectional grooming when he is in a good mood. This stallion knows when he is either outmatched or has an advantage. If it comes to challenging a younger stallion for his entire band, Chrome won't hesitate to do exactly that.
» History Chrome was born into a herd of four mares. There was currently three yearlings at the time and he was the only foal during that season. The yearlings weren't related to him as the herd had been taken over by a older stallion the spring before. Chrome grew up to be a pretty troublesome colt and when he hit the age of two, he began to get frisky with the fillies in the herd. He was immediately chased out by his father and received a few hard bites to his hindquarters as a fair warning to stay away. It wasn't long after that he joined a bachelor band and stuck with them. He ventured out on his own around the age of six and managed to gain one mare but it was soon taken from him that very summer. He ended up roaming again and continuously attempting to create a herd of his own.

History || The stallion has had a fairly normal life. Born into a very large herd Magallan was driven out with several other colts and has lived with these bachelors ever since. Magallan has never had a herd of his own per say. He's had a few mare's until an older stud comes in and snakes them away. Magallan know roams, searching for lone mares', wanting to start a herd of his own. Magallan has had a normal, yet tough time. Winters have been harsh and cold, with little food, the stallion is ready for a plentiful spring with food and mares.
