"My name is Denali," she said with a small smile. She looked Thunder over because she was a bit closer. His strong muscles were visible under his sleek black coat. She could faintly smell another mare, so he must be a band stallion, not a bachelor. That was reassuring. "What's yours?" she asked.

Denali barely had to think about it. Thunder was a strong, handsome stallion who was willing to protect her. "I'd love to," she said raising her head, her brown eyes gleaming.

Gypse threw her head high and snorted in alarm when she saw Shadow. She took a few steps back. "H-hello." She said quietly.

Thunder was pleased. He nuzzled her, smiling, he turned and walked back towards Maple, looking back to make sure Denali followed.

Denali nuzzled the stallion back. Excited at the prospect of a new herd, she followed Thunder eagerly, tossing her head. The scent of another mare grew stronger as they walked. She was curious, but Denali didn't ask any questions yet.
