The wary female drifted into daylight as she trotted through the forest. Sunlight sparked through the open spots above, the trees letting it in the spice up her fur. Shaking off leaves made her sigh, knowing summer was ahead. The change between winter and summer was quick, but she was prepared. Every time she got back, a small trail of dandruff and sheddings appeared somewhere along in the forest, alerting prey. Today, that would change. Sulking into the water, freshly pulled fur went into the water, her paws all muddy. "What a clutz." She splashed as she yelped and howled. The female still acted like a pup, even though she was older than one.
