No, but it's all my fault, a rouge came to our home one day without warning they killed my parents I went to fight him to protect my siblings but he injured me and I could only watch them die now I have these scars to remind me on how I failed to save my loved ones, I don't even know why I still breath", he said.

"Oh, same with me, kind a. I don't have any scars though." She paused for a minute. "So, me and my mom were about to go get food, but we didn't because a cat hater walked out of his car and saw us. He followed where we went and soon later, we ran into a dead end. Everyone in my family. The walls were too slippery to climb but there was only one way out, a vent. My mom put me in and tried to get the others but they refused because they had no idea what was happening. The long paw had a curved stick that is heavy in his hand. (A bat) So he got close and, used it to." She stopped for a moment. "To kill them. I wish I could of done something to save them."

Sasha flicked her ear and looked at him." Some cats are trying to sleep besides if you hate it so much why don't you go to your old home", she asked annoyed.

Dusty looked up and got up." That's enough sasha he's had a rough day his owners abandoned him so you don't know what it's like at least he knows what he talks about", she said her voice soft for once.

Sasha growled being in one of her moods." Oh really!? Says you! You were never a stray at the beginning were you!? No! You were the runt of the litter and your family didn't want you! Then your owners got you and what happened next!? Oh that's right! They kicked you out because you were worthless! Maybe that's your fate to die that's why everyone abandons you!", she said.

Dusty stared at her her ears flattened and for once hurt was in her eyes she then turned around and started walking out of the ally feeling tears run down her cheeks

Coal looked at her with a sad look." Then I guess we do have something in common we both lost our families but we still have a future to look at and if it helps I'll protect you", he said.

Phillip had quit licking stubbornly at his fur while the two she-cats spoke, and eventually, a frown grew on him muzzle. He stood up, shooting an icy glare at Sasha and spat, "The Southern Gang hasn't abandoned her. I'm surprised they've accepted a cat such as yourself." And, tossing his nose into the air, padded down into the alley. Once he was out of Sasha's sight, he huffed, then called out, "Dusty?"

She lightly smiled at him. "How do you manage to survive on your own?" She asked him with curiosity. "It's hard enough to even get food here, unless if your my size, then it's easy to get fish."

Dusty sat on a wall ears flat against her head before hearing philip." What do you want?", she asked her voice cracked. She normally was tougher than this but having something such as her own kin being thrown into a insult blurted her more than ever

Coal smiled down at her and sat up." I taught myself how to hunt and any other survival tactics", he said.

It took Phillip a moment before he spotted her. He leapt up quickly until he was near her, the frown still planted on his face, "Well, first of all, to... give my gratitude." It was difficult for Phillip to thank anyone, but he swallowed, continuing, "So, thanks. I actually appreciated... you know. Second, I'm sorry." His ear flicked. He had turned his head to away to thank her, but he averted his gaze back on the molly, "I had no clue that Sasha could be so rude."
