Jay turned and nipped Zayn ears pinning slightly. He was given a glare and growl in return. He understood Zayn’s reaction, but starting a fight was not what he wanted to happen. Looking back at Nikita he met her eyes calmly. “Just passing through” he told her. “We were hoping to catch some food along the way.” He informed her truthfully. After a moment of silence he glanced at his companions “By the way the moody one is Zayn” he nodded towards Zayn’s dark form “And our quiet girl is Catriel.” He then nodded towards the tawny fae.

Zayn growled angrily at Jay’s nip hackles rising higher before glaring at the fae. What they did was none of her business. They were technically not on her territory and so she did not have the right to know their actions. Pinning his ears as he was introduced he glanced passed Jay to Catriel.
