Sighing, trek hung his head. "He lost his family in an avalanche. He survived, the others didn't. Including his parents." He closed his eyes tightly. "Because of the trauma, he latched onto the first parental figures he found that looked like his mother and father- Me, looking like his father, and a Mountain pack female by the name Alegra." He looked over his shoulder protectively at the pup, "But what can I do? Throw another avalanche at him by telling him I'm not his dad? I figure... Well, I'm not quite sure yet." He chuckled, looking toward Snow. "I think I will wait and see how things go. If it's still a secret when he's older, then I will tell him. Obviously I'm not going to trick him for his whole life. But telling him now, especially while injured, could cause him too much pain to bear." His face softened and he frowned, "I'm not going to let him get hurt- like emotionally, like that. Though I do worry where Alegra is, for last I saw she was with Plasma." He features flashed concern, but he instantly put a smile back on his face.
