Trek fought a smile from his maw and turned on his heels, heading toward the exit of the cave. His claws clacked quietly on the stone until he reached the cold grass, in which he broke into a sprint. It grows on high altitudes, I think- Mother mentioned it when we were higher up in the hills. He turned in a wide arc and curved around the cave to it's side. He slowed and leaped up onto a ledge, walking slowly across it and scrambling a few feet higher. Some rocks loosened under his front paws and he knocked him jaw on the ground, then jumped as high as he could, crawling onto a larger shelf. He panted and stretched his jaw out, then continued up. It looks like a small fern, but with less leaves. It's very green, and it wouldn't have flowers this time of year, I think. Gosh, I don't even know it's smell. He continued up until he reach some grass, where the hill evened out on top. He panted and jogged through it, looking side to side, then growling, It's still too wet here. I'll need to head toward the mountains. He broke into a sprint again, heading toward where the ground began to rise again. He slowed down when the smell of the River Pack's territory faded into a new smell, a land of no owners. Trekkar stepped cautiously as the ground began to tilt upwards, and began pecking his way of the hill.
