Mia managed a weak but surprisingly genuine smile at Aleck's wink. "My lips are sealed, then," she jokingly replied, knowing full well that the saying wasn't intended to be used in a situation like such, but what else could one say without being awkward? Not a word, that's what. So, the saying still making sense, she would apply it however she liked. Her smile faded, however, when he asked if she was alright. "Yeah, yeah, yeah," she assured him in rapid fire. "I'm fine." Her throat was tight as were her lungs, and then it hit her: the loss of consciousness. Though she doubted it had caused her any damage, it did remind her... the feeling was remarkably close to being drowned, as little sense as that made. She gave herself a shake a pushed herself up, her leg now tingly and stinging slightly, but usable. "See?" She asked, a wide but false smile now plastered on her face. "Perfect." Then appeared Giselle, Mia's fellow warrior fae. The sudden stream of words had Mia caught by surprise, usually Mia wasn't overly social and this was just overwhelming, considering the situation, but nonetheless, she looked down at her leg and replied. "I'm a little scraped up, but not anything of any concern," she looked up at Aleck. She hadn't even considered the brute's well being, and the concern on Giselle voice made her uneasy.

The fae nodded at Aleck, as the earth started to tremble. She watched as her Beta ran off to the aid of another. Always the hero... she thought quietly to herself, and sat down as the tremors softened. For a while, she stayed were she had been told. Then, she rose. It was time to reveal all she knew...

Giselle ran in the direction of her Beta. As she ran, she tried to put into words what she wanted to say. It was going to be difficult! As she ran around the corner, Aleck and Mia met her eyes. She stopped dead in her tracks, feeling a little awkward.
"Um... Er... Sorry! Aleck, you told me to stay... But I figured something was wrong when you didn't come back! Are either of you hurt?" the fae asked, concern etched over her face. Her stomach did backflips as she watched Aleck squirm out of an odd position. I do hope he's alright... I don't want anything to happen to him! Giselle thought, then mentally scolded herself. She was a warrior, and in her eyes, feelings were weakness. But she couldn't help it. For now, it would have to be concealed.

Giselle sat down, and sighed.
"Aleck, you were right. I do know what is happening here. The same thing happened in my old pack... It's an earthquake, as you have probably gathered. Our prey is moving south down the mountain to avoid them, which is what we should be doing. The only other choice is to go up, but there is nothing for us up there. An earthquake took the lives of all of my pack, apart from my three brothers and I. We escaped a couple of minutes before the big quake hit... I'm sorry I kept this information a secret, I could have prevented injuries!" The fae lay down in shame and sadness, feeling stupid. Whining to herself, she lay her head on her paws and avoided eye contact...

He stared at her confused. "I thought," he paused for a second. "I thought your name was Mystery." He stared at her for a little bit. "you don't remember my name?" He was sad she did not remember his name.

He chuckled at Mia for a short while, everything seemed alright. "I'm glad you're okay." He woofed softly, he listened to the rummbling of the forest die down. "It's almost over." To his suprise, Giselle ran over to see if he was alright and then stated something very important. Concern faded into his expression. "It's alright, you were frightened. We all were." His words were calm and content, the way he normally was. Both Mia and Giselle were kindhearted. He would never look down on them. "Glad you told me." Aleck stated firmly and glanced to the southern border of the territory. "It would be best if we make out way down to the southern border now. The earthquake is susbsiding but I don't want to risk anyone's saftey." The Beta turned to his trusty packmates. "Will you follow?"
