In a land far from you and I, there lies the Kingdom of Locke. This is a kingdom ruled by wolves, and its borders stretch far and wide. Many years ago humans ruled this land, but the only reminder of that time is the remainder of the runes of that castle. This small castle, consisting of just a few rooms, houses the Royals of the grand Kingdom, while the other wolves live in shelters based upon ranking. Middle Citizens live in the roomy caves of the territory, while Commoners live in dug out dens. Would you like to learn more about this forest kingdom? Or perhaps request citizenship? Come, I shall escort you.

Roleplay rules (cannot be broken)

-please keep this fairly realistic.
Obviously, the ranks and many social rules are not realistic, but I do not want any wolves that have blue eyes or are able to bring down a buck on their own.
-you must remain active.
This means posting at least every other day. Let me know if you will be gone for a while.
-you must post at least two LINES.
Lines, not sentences. If you are using a phone,just over three lines on mobile=two regular. I do not accept WB as an excuse, two lines is not much to ask.
-Use correct grammar
No text talk, use correct spelling, and write complete sentences. I don't want to see "he looked around. Then he sat down. He waited for someone to talk to him."
-concerning recaps/reposts
Do not ask for a recap/repost unless it has been more than 5 pages since you last posted. It is very easy to simply read through five pages, or use the search function to find someone's last response. Do not repost your replies until two pages have gone by.

Social rules (can be broken)

-the words of the Royal Pair are law.
-you must never speak or act against the Royal Pair.
-the Royals are to be treated with the utmost respect.
-you must receive the blessing of the Royal Pair if you wish to take on a mate.
-if you wish for citizenship, you must first consult the Sy, then speak with the Royal Pair.
-no Royal may take on a mate who is a Nova or within two generations of a Nova.
-all wolves must treat each other kindly, though any wolf must not be treated better than their rank. A Middle Citizen will receive greater privilege than a Commoner, etc.

When one speaks to or about another, he/she is to refer to that wolf by their title and name. The only exception of this is for the commoners, who may be referred to by simply his/her name.

Youth
~these are the children of the Middle citizens, ages 0-12 months~



Commoners
~all other wolves who do not hold one of the higher ranks. These are the Silvestros/Silverias and Elders~

Elders
~retired Silvestros and Silverias. They are respected for wisdom; equivalent to grandparents/great grandparents. Ages 8+ years~

Silvestros
~these are the male common workers, such as hunters and gatherers. Ages 3-8 years~

Silverias
~these are the female common workers , such as hunters and gatherers. Ages 3-8 years~

Students
~these are young wolves, training to become Silvestros/Silverias. Ages 1-3 years~

Pups
~these are the children of the commoners, ages 0-12 months~

Other Citizens
~these are wolves who do not fit into any other category~

Nova
~these are wolves who were not born into the Kingdom, but gained citizenship later on. They are always Commoners, though have fewer rights~

Mal
~these are wolves who have broken laws. They have little to no rights, and may be outlawed or sentenced to death if they commuted a severe crime~

The princess is the middle wolf~ she has one older sister, one older brother, one younger sister, and one younger brother. She is taught to be a proper Royal, and not to spend too much time with the Commoners. Her parents want her to marry a strong, proud Syla, but she has other ideas. A hardworking Silvestro has caught her eye, but her father would never bless the Mateship....

The lowly Commoner is one of the hardest working of his class. He takes pride in his work, making sure he does the job right. He has the attention of many Silverias, and Elders see his work ethic and smile. But he longs for the attention of just one female, and that is of the Keita. But he knows that the Mateship between a Commoner and a Keita is frowned upon.....

She -yes, she- is the bravest and fiercest of the Sylas. She is the only female Syla in history, but she is perhaps the best. She is tough, strong, fiesty, determined, bold, and even perhaps a bit cold. Most wolves refer to her as 'Sir' to show respect for this female warrior. She may be a Syla on the outside, but deep within her there is a tinge of sadness that caused her to become this way. She was once a friendly, kind wolf, but something happened that changed her. Perhaps the newest Nova can bring her out of her shell, sweep her off her feet, and give her a happily ever after.

He is new to the Kingdom of Locke. He has not even gained citizenship yet. In fact, his first encounter (which WILL be roleplayed) with a pack member was a rough one. He was pounced on by a Syla, who then dragged him to the Sy. His every move is surveyed by the Royals, as well as the Syla warrior who was assigned to show him around. He finds himself falling for her, and knows that somewhere hidden the fierce wolf has a soft, caring center.... If he can only unearth it.

He is looked down upon by every wolf in the pack. He is despised by most, and rarely will a wolf speak to him. Why? Because he stole from the Royals. But he didn't. He was framed by a charming, high ranking Xylon who has a secret plot to take over the Kingdom. The Mal doesn't know who it was that framed him, only that he is innocent. But who would believe someone they think is a criminal?

She doesn't trust the charming fellow who was made a Xylon. She finds his stories suspicious, and his antics odd. She also doesn't believe that the poor Mal was the one who stole from the Silvino, bit that he is innocent. She has no proof though, and since she is the great great granddaughter of a Nova, wolves still do not trust her fully. How will she prove the Xylon is bad, and the Mal is good

He should have been a Nova. He was not born into the pack, but joined later. He shared an elaborate story, of how he was the prince in another kingdom, but must now seek refuge for fear of his life. The Kingdom of Locke welcomed him, and bought his story. He was made a Xylon. He is charming on the outside, but evil in the inside. He is deceptive, even framing a poor wolf just to make himself look better. He pretends to love a foolish Keita, whom he knows adores him. He will ask her to be his mate, then stage an accident for the Silvino. He plans to rule the Kingdom, no matter who he has to trample on.

She can tell that he loved her as well, and she is just waiting for his proposal. But she is quite foolish, unaware that this wolf will just take advantage of her feelings. She doesn't know his evil plot to rule the kingdom...

Personality: Rio is a good natured and friendly wolf. He almost always carries a smile upon his muzzle, and always has a kind word for everyone. He is more of a lover than a fighter, but he will fight for what he believes in, and will fight to protect those he cares about. He is loyal to his Kingdom, and if he loves you he will protect you with his life. Rio is strong physically and mentally, and can often sense when someone is unhappy. He often has a good amount of energy, but is fine with taking things slow and relaxing every now and then. As he is getting older, he hasn't quite the same energy as he used to, but he still is a cheerful Silvino.



History: Rio is an older wolf, and is nearly ready to retire. He rules the Kingdom of Locke, just as his father and grandfather before him riled the great kingdom. He has ruled the Kingdom of Locke for 4 years, and those years have been some of the best years Lock has ever seen. But soon Rio must step down, and pass the Kingdom on to his Keithen....

Personality: Brie is typically feisty and a strong fighter. She is smart, and isn't easily tricked. She is strongly built for a female, and this combined with her fierce determination earned her a place among the Sylas. She likes to do things her way sometimes, but she tries to do what will also help the kingdom. She is a bit strong willed, and if she believes you are wrong she will let you know. She hates it when others don't take responsibility for their actions. She may come of as a bit cold, but this is from the walls and filters she has built around her heart, to try and forget and hide the pain that resides deep within her. Although she is tough, she has a soft spot for the little ones, and enjoys their company. If you want to be her sweetheart, you have your work cut out for you.




History: Arberie used to be in another kingdom, but was kicked out. The King was cruel. He had killed Brie's brother for having light eyes, and her sister for being too tall. He would kill any pup that didn't match the image in his head, and everything was punishable and punished by death. The alpha required every wolf to bow to him in submission as he walked by, and any wolf who laid eyes on him when he wasn't speaking to him/her was killed in front of the entire pack. Despite her surroundings, Brie didn't conform to the ways of the pack the way the other wolves did. She didn't let herself become weak mentally. In fact, her entire one year of life she spent in that pack, she plotted how to overthrow him. She wanted to end the sorrow and weakness of the pack that was caused by him. She wanted to set things straight, the way they ought to be. She hated the King, and Arberie was the only wolf willing to stand up to him. She approached him one day, looked him in the eye, and told him off. She told him that she would not be weak of mind, and that she would not stand by and watch him squash the spirits of wolves and tear families apart. No sooner had she finished when he leapt at her with the intent of killing her. She used her speed to flee, and as she did so she heard him howl of her banishment. She eventually came across the Kingdom of Locke. She started as a Nova, but her unusual warrior-like qualities earned favor a,OMG the Royals, who decided to make her a Syla. Really, she couldn't have for in anywhere else. The male Sylas laughed at the decision, but soon bit their tongues when they saw what she was capable of. She will never be the highest ranking Syla, but she is still one of the greatest among those of her level.

What Do You Look For In A Mate? Brie has no mate, nor a crush. She believes that her love must be earned, and any male who wants her will have to work for her. If she does happen to fall in love before the male falls for her, she will not let on and will wait for him to come to her first. If a male doesn't have the courage to ask her on a date, why should she put in the effort to ask him? She looks for certain traits in a mate, such as honesty and mental strength, as well as a good nature. But she is unsure she could ever love someone, not with the walls she has built around herself.

When you first meet her, she can be a bit shy, but as she gets to know you you will find an intelligent and friendly wolf. Allita is a sweet fae, and doesn't like to see people hurt or sad.



History: Allita is the daughter of the Silvino, making her a Keita. She was of course born into the Kingdom of Locke, and will forever be a royal. Her history is much like that of any Royal, so what is there to tell?
