Soul wandered through forests for hours with no specific ambition, just for the purpose to move her legs. She soon became sleepy, noticing that it was probably a good time to sleep. She lifted her paws like they had weights on them and her eyes narrowed as if they wanted to close when she was still standing. She scanned the perimeters of the forest she was in, looking for threats. She thought she could smell wolves, but she figured they were to far anyways. She ducked into a concentrated patch of brush and curled up. She began drifting into a deep slumber. Images of her younger days danced in her head. The terror of not being good enough, and the taunting faces of the pups. The alphas eyes, staring at her with disappointment. She twitched lightly when she dreamt this, whining quietly like she did when Alpha of the old pack passed by her.

Chayton sat under a large pine tree on the sidelines of camp. He panted lightly and watched the activity that was happening on the middle.

She sighed in happiness when she found the perfect spot to smoke up some of the early afternoon sun. She wanted to know whether she should ask Spade to go hunting with her, or wait for him to make the first move.

Lucid trotted towards the pine tree, where she normally rested, only to find Chayton now there. She tilted her head and continued, she laid down and rolled her salmon tongue over her ivory canines that glinted in the rather bright sunlight.

Narcotix rolled her tongue from her mouth, and started panting.

Tetrix turned his head to her. "I suppose it is because it reminds me of what used to be..." he thought aloud.

Spade stood and shook his fur. He looked around before sitting back down in the sun.

Chayton pulled his ears back and tensed when the female settled herself next to him. He stared at her like he was disturbed, but only felt shocked.

"Don't flatter yourself, love. I normally lay here after a hunt." Lucid stated releasing a huff. She ruffled her furs a bit, before lifting her hind leg to her ear, relieving an itch that she had for quiet a few minutes.

Chayton broke his yellow stare quickly after her statement and looked at the dirt beneath him in embarrassment. He huffed a short laugh and shook his head. "Wow your something" he said quietly. "Well, please don't let me ruin your routine with my presence" he added, shuffling over.

"I'm just me, dearie. Best kind of something to me. And, you're fine... It may be nice to have some company for a change." Lucid replied honestly to Chayton.
