Alexander was a little frightened by the large black stallion that stood before him but looked to his mother who gave him an encouraging smile to ask the stallion's question. Queen Bee

Bee lashed her lightly scented tail over her haunches, as she lipped at the tops of the grass. She lowered her nose and chomped down like a lawn-mower, grazing contently at the grass. Lifting her head, Bee snorted and started to trot away, lifting her tail high and to the side, prancing through the grass happily. She didn't nicker, but started to jump around, kicking the air and bucking. She might be a little old for a wild mare, but she still had some energy in her body. Indeed, she was a 'hot-blood' horse!

Emberblaze

Emberblaze trotted though the forest, getting very bored. He had found a group of mares lead by a stallion the other day but he lost the mares due to a pack of stupid wolves. Oh well, at least he is not dead or injured, that way he was get more mares. Blaze let out a loud nicker, hoping someone can hear him calling.

Night trotted though the forest, his nose guiding him out of the misty forest. "I guess you are close to the river"he said, ears picked. The trees opened up to a long muddy river, the water runs fast though it. "We need to get to the other side"he looked at Alex, the young colt has just being born, he cannot survive a swim in the river ahead of him.

She followed Night, keeping a steady pace that was easy for Alex to follow and was glad when they passed out of the treeline. Her eyes looked at the fast flowing river and turned to Night "We have to find another way their is no way Alex could swim that" she turned to Alex who said something "No honey as much as I am proud to have a son that wants to try his best, it is just too dangerous".

Alex sensibly followed his parents, keeping close to his mother like Night told him too. He looked at the fast flowing river with excited eyes and looked up at his mum "I can do it mum!" he reared to show how strong he was but his ears dropped when his mum refused to agree. He trotted forward a few steps just to get a closer look at the river but still kept some distance between him and the edge.
