Maeve walked behind people at a slow pace in effort to blend in, in order to
reach the dumpsters. The only problem was the workers and owner of the
restaurant both know of Maeve's visits, and they often shoo her away with brooms.
Maeve slipped around the corner after the group of people passed, and walked
alongside the wall until she came up to the dumpster. One lid was propped up
against the wall, aroma of fresh and rotting food alike filling her senses. She
hastily peered in and dipped her muzzle in where she thought would have the
freshest food. She pulled out a chicken leg that was picked at, a bone that still
contained the juices of the meat once on it, and half a can of pineapple slices.
She nudged everything together, wanting to try to take it all back in one go;
but it took three attempts to get the mouthful to fit. She carefully made her
way back down the sidewalk and through the street. She curiously bent her
ears forward to see the male was still watching her from his position that he
didn't seem to leave.

perked forward due to the pesky squirrel coming back for more. Was one brave
squirrel and he gave props to it, and as long as it wasn't bothering anyone, he'd
let it stay. He looked at both Teddy, and Finch before speaking again. "How are
you this fine morning? The sky couldn't be clearer. A nice break from those
overcast clouds we've gotten." His tailed patted the ground, and he was obviously
in a happy mood. He hoped no one would change that since it's hard for him to
be genuinely happy.
