Maeve walked along the south pack's territory, her ears perking towards the
chirping birds. Her tongue lolled out as she trotted along the beaten trail up to
the resting places of the dogs. Most didn't seem to be awake at the time, so she
walked off to find a few scraps to fill her stomach. The classic hotdog stand sat
unattended while it was closed, but the aroma of the turning hot dogs filled her
nostrils. Her ears pulled back while she walked across the sidewalk, and up to the
cart. She pushed her forearms up against the counter, sniffing until she noticed
the box. She nudged the door with her nose, but it wouldn't budge. Suddenly,
she was hit on the rump with a broom, while a man shouted at her to leave. She
growled, but not wanting to cause issues, left and ran across the road; weaving
through cars stopped at a red light.

Axle woke up slowly, the light from outside his small next of leaves and twigs shone
across his muzzle. He stretched, and lifted himself to his feet to check up on the
territory. Being a sentinel of the east pack he needed to do daily checks on the
territory to ensure his pack mate's safety. He looked up at the sky and watched
the birds fly by, wishing that he could be as free as a bird. He focused his attention
on making his checks on the borders. Everything seemed to be in acceptable shape,
so he sniffed around for a rabbit he'd been trying for at the outskirts of the park.
He barely lifted a scent before two ears propped up from a small dirt hole in the
ground. His ears pressed to his head, his upper lip curling to bare his pearly teeth
as he sulked to the ground.

Teddy Bear flickered his ears to the sounds of the birds and the wind,a small smile danced upon his face as it was nice and peaceful out here for him but once his stomach began to grumble his smile disappeared as a frown replaced it.The Bernese mountain dog stood up as he shook his long fur coat and began to walk over when he had suddenly seen Axle,the sentinel of the pack a great one as well,Bear smiled for a brief moment as he began to walk over towards him.Finally the alpha was close enough to speak with his member,well family in his case,however he perked his ears and opened up his maw,"salutations Axle,did you have a nice sleep?" the alpha asked kindly as he sat down near him.

Sailor flickered her ears the alpha's voice as she nodded once he had greeted her."Salutations,and I am glad I didn't for a minute there I thought I had disturbed your peace," she said kindly to him as she opened her maw as she was about to answer his question but once she heard him pause because of the beta she pinned her ears back gently.The pure white German Shepherd raised her head once she had heard Ares speaking again and asking a question,she opened her maw once again and let the words come out,"well I have been okay I guess,just the hunger of the pack worries thought," she said to him.

As Bear came back from his walk, his stomach growled at him, he growls back at his hungry stomach and marches forward peeking out to see if there is any type of food he could steal.

xxxxxxAres saw how sailor pinned her ears down and gave a small smile knowing that being interrupted was not an enjoyable feeling. He thought about her concerns and came up with an idea. "we can try to raid the hot dog stand from last week again?" Ares suggested he was better at deciding safety and possible battle tactics but finding food was not a strong suit for him so he had to rely on his pack for advice in that area, and so far they had proved to be helpful.

she looked at her alpha and smiled "of course sir that shall be rather easy i can detract them while you guys get the food?" she asked them both tilting her head and looked at sailor tilting her head slightly was she growling at her she thought to herself then turned her attention back to her alpha

Sailor saw Ares give a small smile when she had pinned her ears down,it had raised her spirits a bit as she knew he had done it because he has probably been interrupted heaps of times and none were enjoyable since it never it is."Yeah it sounds like a great idea to me,and it sounds less risky," she said to him as gave a small smile since she was glad to have an alpha like him,and not only that but the concerns of the pack were what she cared for as the hot dog stand would have been an easy start and less risky for all of the pack,well at least not all anyway and nodded at Shasta when she spoke to show her listening skills.

Ares gave a subtle nod to Shasta acknowledging her Request "If your willing to distract them then we can go in and grab some of the hotdogs" Ares said restateing the plan. "Less risk means its more likely we will go in and out with minimal harm. High risk does not guarantee high reward" He reminded them not to try and be a hero. He didn't want them hurt.

she nodded "k so the one right down there right?" she asked nodding towards one of the hotdog stands not far from them she watched as the humans lined up at it she smiled she knew what her plan was going to be to get the cook to leave

Maeve sniffed at the ground until she came upon a man leaned back on a bench, a
sandwich slowly slipping out of his hand while he snored. It was clear he was
exhausted from a one too many sleepless nights; but Maeve's stomach drove her
to carefully pull one end of the sandwich until it was freed from his hand. She
felt bad, but she knew he could afford another sandwich if he was hungry...
unlike Maeve who couldn't do much about her, and her pack mate's constantly
grumbling stomachs. She carried the sandwich in her mug back through the
gridlocked cars, and back to the side she originally came from. Sitting herself in
the bushes, she gave a smug look towards the hotdog vendor while she chewed
away at the warm sandwich. She would save some for her pack, but she wanted
to get a few bites in before the others swooped in on it.

Axle peered back towards his alpha, dipping his muzzle down in a greeting. "Ah,
Bear, yes I did have a nice rest. Better then I've gotten for a few months now.
All I needed was to stop stressing, eh.. I'm an easy stresser as you know. And
yourself?" He trotted at a slower pace so that he wouldn't stray too far away
from Bear while he finished up his rounds for the morning. The only danger he
found was a squirrel who thought this was his area, however a small rumble of
a growl in it's direction caused it to scurry off into the bushes. He turned back
in Bear's spot, and reclined back on his behind so they could talk; since it's
not often they both have the downtime to chat.
