You were abandoned.
You thought you had a forever home, a loving family who would take care of you forever. How wrong you were. They left you to die on the streets, alone. Cold. Hungry. Sleepy. In a busy city for ambitious people and stray dogs with no future.
Every day, you wandered around aimlessly, trying to get a snack or a nice, cozy place to sleep in. Humans looked down upon you. They were disgusted by your dirty fur and pig-like behaviour as you dug around to find food.

You had lost faith in humanity and yourself until you found them.
Your pack.

Rules

1. Follow Tess rules.
2. Be realistic. No, your dog can't fart rainbows or fly around the city like a ping pong ball.
3. Don't godmod, powerplay or make gary-sues/mary-sues. That's not fun for anyone.
4. Being mates or having a crush on your own characters is not allowed.
5. Be nice to people in the roleplay and outside. Sure, you can have an argument, that makes more drama, but don't kill someone or whatever. No. That's not nice.
6. IF you have to kill someone, do plan it with the owner of the character you are going to take down. Of course, if it's just a random squirrel or whatever that you have "seen" with your character, you don't have to plan with anyone.
7. Follow your rank. If you are a hunter you can't go bossing around like an alpha.
8. Alphas and Betas will pick who they want to be Alpha/Beta with, as they will be leaders with their mates.

Personality :: More of a tomboy than a girly-girl if ya know what I mean. Most underestimate her, but she is very strong, and will stick to what she thinks is right, and loves to get her paws dirty.
History :: Sakura was taken to a shelter when she was only about 3 months old, and that's the first thing she remembers; a cold metal cage with the voices of depressed dogs in the background. The reason that she was in the shelter is that she was taken from an illegal breeder. Sakura was adopted from the shelter at the age of 2 years. The owner that she now had planned to release her into the wild, but Sakura escaped after one year. After another year of wandering the outside of a large city and being shot at by the police, she noticed a pack in the city and decided to join them in hopes of acceptance.

Maeve is a japanese breed of dog, called kai ken, or "tiger dog". Though, her name isn't japanese but irish. It means "she who intoxicates", or in this girl's case- intoxicates others with her unforgettable personality (whether it be in a good or bad way). Maeve has a big personality for a medium sized dog, who took up the stray life at the age of one. She seems to have a happy-go-lucky look on life, along with a surprisingly bitter sarcastic side. With her humour, it shouldn't be taken to heart; as she takes them as jokes. Even though she's (for the most part) happy, satisfied, and care free; her past doesn't cease to keep a gloomy cloud atop her head. Her past may continuously relapse in her mind, but it doesn't phase her on the outside besides a few sharp jokes, or silence. If you know Maeve, it's hard to read her emotions since they're so jumbled up inside.

Love? ..oh dear lord, help this poor soul. Maeve, as you could have guessed, does not fall for love too easily. She often is portrayed as hard to get, however once upon a time she was a hopeless romantic. Due to the nature of being hopelessly romantic, a lot of things happened for her relationships with other canines; and often found herself becoming attached to those who had no interest in her. Having a heart as fragile as her's now makes her have trust issues. With her joking and past behavior of being a hopeless romantic, she often times finds herself unknowingly flirting; and when she discovers those scandalous words she can suddenly turn sheepish. All she's really looking for is someone she can settle down with, whom has a true heart. She's been looking for someone of this status for awhile with no luck, but her hope doesn't drain out. Luckily she's persistent/determined. One of her biggest wishes is to have a family of her own so that she can experience that motherly and nurturing role. Maeve is a real klutz when it comes to romance.

Her history could be arguable whether it was good or bad. Maeve has seen better days, and her past weren't the best. She used to be a naive young pup, who lived a life of luxury. Upon seeing a group of stray dogs' freedom, she grew envious of their ability to go wherever, whenever without worry about owners or whether it was getting dark out. She did what any other pup dared not to do- run away. One day she had a constant full stomach, a large yard to romp about, young children to play with; and the next she was hungry, cold, and alone. Passing school children had sympathy for the stray, and gave a few scraps here and there.. but Maeve's enemies weren't neighboring strays.. no. They were the older, male school kids. When she would be in sight of the other children, the boys would approach and throw things, or even worse give a kick to the flank if they thought they could get screams and gasps out of observers. This grew Maeve's weariness of humans, and often stays clear out of sight of them. She had been a loner most her life, only coming across a few straggling hounds. Her family? She's never met them since she was picked up from a pound by her past owners. Despite her lonerish attitude in the past, she wanted to be apart of something that was bigger then herself- and would hopefully find that in this pack.

Axle takes up a genuine, gentlemen approach towards anyone he meets, but mainly the ladies. You may think this brute's a frisky australian shepherd just looking for some on and off relationships; and to be a famous heart throb. You'd be wrong. Axle is just the opposite, and truly is perceived to be a gentlemen from his actions towards ladies and brutes alike. He lives up to the aged beliefs, therefore giving him a friendly and polite nature (and even gave him a proper 'accent' you could say). Axle also has an eidetic memory along with a high intelligence. Even though Axle's personality seems all sun shine and rainbows, he also carries a few unpleasant traits and a heavy past. Axle is an easy one to become jealous, since he's used to having the attention span of most canines due to his unique behaviors. Although, if Axle doesn't have the lime light, he won't seek it or drag it away from someone; he just simply enjoys having the natural attention of others. Another unfortunate attribute he has would be he's extremely pessimistic. He sounds cheerful, but whenever events occur or he gets told he needs to be spoken to, he can't help but have that sinking gut feeling. He assumes the worst even when it's unlikely.

Axle's love life isn't too eventful, surprisingly. He may attract female attention, but he doesn't go in and out of relationships; and tug on hearts then let them go. He's aware of just how fragile love can be, and that you should save yourself for that true someone instead of settling for the meantime. He's realized that when you keep your eyes open to everyone, it makes it easier to find who's for you. It's easy to tell that when Axle finds a mate, he'll be rather possessive, yet protective of her. Which isn't too bad perhaps. He's not clingy, he just wants to keep her out of trouble, and protect her from anything and everything.

His heavy past, you're asking? I wouldn't ask him in person if I were you, however if you really must know.. Axle fought with many before he took up a personality change. He was grumpy, short-tempered, and vicious even- which seems unlikely for a dog of his breed (although guess you could say not to underestimate the fight in any dog). Some fights he stumbled upon, others he provoked. He was never satisfied and kept picking for more, which eventually led him to the day his world changed. A life lost when all it came down to was a food scrap. A food scrap worth another's life? If it was a dog who had no morals, no sympathy it'd be seen as less competition. However, to Axle, this was unintended and scarring. He couldn't believe what had occurred over something that wouldn't have made either of the two less hungry. After that day, Axle left the area, had a new liveliness in his bones, and a new stride. He would never relive that day again.
