Kanye snorted softly at the stallions gesture, calmed a bit by it. "Yes. My colt and I are alone. My band dissapeared resently and we are rather lost." She shook her mane, trying to driv off some annoying flys.

Tay slowly came out from behind Kanye. While his mother chatted with the dark coated stallion, Tay kelt down into a laying position, his short, scruffy tail flicking.

The mare looked at him as if he was crazy. She was all alone and in heat and he was leaving? "Um, ok then?" She huffed with disbelief, trotting away from the strange bachelor.

Saeran smiled softly as the colt cam out from under his mother, lying down on the ground. He then looked back to Kanye, listening to her. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." He gently pawed the ground lightly, shaking out his black mane. "Well, if you are lost, wouldn't you want to be protected once again?" He flicked his ears towards her, "And I could very well give you two the strong protection needed." He flicked his black tail, dark brown eyes watching her intently.

Laken didn't understand why the mare thought he was crazy. He was just asking a normal question that all bachelors would. He gently pawed the ground, his dark brown eyes gazing back up to her. "Don't worry, I can protect you. We could produce healthy, strong foals that will live on! Don't have doubt in me, I promise I won't let you down." The stallion really spoke from his heart. He really liked this mare and she wasn't sure.

The Black mare contemplated his words as she sniffed her colt. "Protection would be a wonder to have, But I know few Stallions whom would take foal, a colt no less, that isn't their own." She nickerd with a pause as she lifted her head back up. "While I will not argue that he isn't my strongest Foal i've birthed, I am no less willing to feed him to the Cougars." She added more quietly as she pawed the ground with a hoof.

Saeran could tell the mare was torn, she wanted protection but, she didn't want her colt dead. The stallion would have just said he wouldn't kill him but, what if the mare didn't believe him? He thought about it for a moment, his dark brown eyes looking to the ground. "Well Kanye, I will keep your foal safe until he is a year, no longer. I know it's a bit early to kick out but, it's the least I can do." He said with the softest tone possible. The male looked to the sleeping colt then back to the mare. "With that being said, would you join me?"

Kanye blinked, a bit surprised before she looked at Tay as she mulled over her choices for a moment before she met Saeran's eyes. "I will join you. A year is long enough to teach him what he needs to know." She said, bobbing her head down to nose the colt at her feet. Part of her hoped that he wouldn't believe that she birthed weak foals often, but she didn't speak her worries as she was glad to have some protection for Tay.
