Rune didn't know what to do. The female knew that she could wait while this was situated. The retriever sat down on her haunches, looking from the brute to Leaf now, seeing as Bear had left.

Leaf smiled at him, "I think you do know." She said smiling. Leaf looked at him, her eyes saying "you like me dont you."

"Maybe, you like me too though. Don't you?" He said with a cheeky smile and a small happy thump of his tail.

He didn't dare say anything. He knew Leaf loved Bear, it hut to think or know she would choose him but he kept it inside. He sighed when he left. "Sorry Leaf." He muttered feeling bad for her because she loved Bear and now he's gone.

Tears started to swell in her eyes and she ignored Matt, racing out of the medicine den and then just disappearing (into her hideout). She sat down hanging her head, "What I have done..." She said to herself. She curled up by the rare flower, "Why did bear have to see that! Why was I being so stupid..." She whimpered, burrowing her head in her paws.
