He sprinted at the deer catching it on the hind. The deer kicked and thrashed, and he gripped on tighter but a few kicks and it kicked his front left paw and lung him against a tree. His ear started to bleed and his front paw really hurt. He got up and tried to run after the deer as it ran away but as soon as he put his left front paw on the ground, he fell. He hopped back into camp. His head was low, his ear bleeding and running down the side of his head, he had a head ache and didn't put his paw on the ground. He called Leaf's name, putting his injured foot on the ground. He didn't want to seem weak, because he wasn't.

Leaf heard her name and then walked out to see Matt, blood slowly dripping from him. She gasped and raced over to him, "What happened?" She asked pulling him onto a bed. She brought out some cobwebs and started patching up the ear and paw. She licked at the blood on his face and then gave a extra lick on the nose, just because she wanted to, before laying down by him, waiting for his reply.

Blaze gave a playful growl and then pounced on her, and they both rolled in the water, each trying to be on top.

"Well maybe you shouldn't have upset her jerk face. Stop acting like you have a thorn in your paw and be nice." Venom snapped in response taking up for Dainty. "You being mad over it just proves how immature you're acting," she added with a growl of her own.
