The pups are soon asleep around Zeus and I. I smile happily, I didn't think anything could compare to this very moment. I raise my head from the ground on which it was upon and sigh, I wanted to go outside and do something but the thought of leaving the pups make me feel sick.

I raise my head and stand up, shaking the dirt which was somehow stuck to my short hair. I decided I would go and spy on the pack to see what they were up to, if they were up to anything that could affect me or any other loner. I slowly approach the pack grounds and climb onto a high rock, observing the pack.

Max sniffed the air, looking around. There was a loner in our midst. He sneaked up along the rocks before pouncing on the loner, pinning him to the ground and growling.

I feel a sudden pressure on my back, I roll onto my back as I see a male on top of me. I snarl, although he wouldn't be able to hold me down long, I was larger than him.

I glare at the male for a long while, deciding if I should tell him my name or not. "My name is Kane, I wish to join your pack," I lie, but I didn't think it was too noticeable. I push Max off me, my attack stance no longer in sight. I perk my ears and nod my head in respect, not that I actually meant it. It was just to make the lie seem believable.
