Aufeis got a few steps ahead of the deer then leaped for the neck with her teeth bared. The deer had his head up for a second causing her to miss. She growled as she landed then sped up again to catch up to the deer this time she jumped higher and made it. She held on and the deer tried to shake her off.

He watched as she missed the first time but got it the second. Now he needed to help as no lone wolf would be capable. He ran over to Its side and bit down hard pulling it to the ground with his strength.

Aufeis bit harder as it was brought to the ground. She wouldn't let go until the deer was dead or shook her off.

Aufeis finally let go then started to catch her breath. Hunting deer was more work than she thought and the story made it sound so easy.

"It's harder than I thought it be the elder's stories make it sound so easy," Aufeis said between breaths.

Aufeis smiled glad she did well as she sat down. Now the fun part how were they going to get it back to camp.
