Aufeis opened her mouth about to speak when she saw the herd. She just nodded instead to make sure not to scare the herd away. She waited to be told what to do from Miles with her muscles tense and ready to go.

He laughed quietly as they saw the herd. "Right, so once you locate the herd what do you need to do or make sure of when approaching the herd without scaring them away?" He asked. He remembered his training when he was young and he thought asking questions would help her learn. He knew she was exited but that was why he was taking his time before the action, she needed to control her excitement or that could make her forget something and fail,

Aufeis thought for a second then replied softly,"No noise like twigs or loud talking." She turned her attention back to the herd ready to start chasing them any second now.

"Good, what about the wind. Very important don't want to forget that on a hunt." He asked and crouched down nodding his head in the direction of the herd motioning for her to move forward with him. He crawled forward stopping behind a shrub a few body lengths away from the deer.

Aufeis followed Miles led and whispered ," Make sure the wind is moving towards you and not the prey." She was so ready now she about when without the order from Miles.

"Ok, good. You can't bring down a deer on your own so I will have to help. Now we are going to see what skills you have. I'm going to go around and scare them to you you have to pick the right one and grab it then I will help." He said then started to walk around in a far circle. When he got round the other side her ran towards them growling, barking and snapping his jaws to frighten them towards Aufei.

Aufeis nodded than wanted the deer carefully trying to pick the one that was injured or not with the group. Finally she saw an opening then raced forward. She knew not to go for the buck he was the problem one with his horns but a doe. She picked one of the last ones with a bit of limp in one of her back legs. She raced beside the doe trying to get away from the others but it continued moving with the group.

He slowly ran after them to keep an eye on her and help when she had the deer, otherwise It was up to her until it was stopped.

Aufeis growled as she thought stupid doe as she raced forward almost in front of it. She nipped a the deer's front leg. Come on turn she thought as he began to pant a bit. She grinned as the deer began to turn. Now to bring her down she thought. She decided to go for the neck like all the story she told about.
