Tiger stood up slowly. "I-I was j-just a bit scared when I ran into you... I didn't know there were other hyenas so close to where I now live." he said.

Lana's ears twitched, "There are always at least a few in a pack." She muttered

Tiger ran away.

[Prophet]

Somewhat shocked, Lana watched the pup scamper away. 'Interesting little tyke." She thought to herself, shaking away her confusion.
She returned to her morning stretching and yawned once more, today seemed like a good day.

(How do you "bump" things? I thought you just had to say Bump! or something. Boy, I got a lot of things to explain to other people...)

Tiger ran to Fang. "Dad! Dad! Dad! Dad! DAD!" he yelled.

Fang looked down at his son. "Yes? Yes? Yes? Yes? YES?" he asked.

"I, I saw, another hyena, over, over there, and she, she, it, they, um, they scared me somehow because I bumped into them and they just..." Tiger said but then stopped. "Never mind." he finally said. "You get it, right?"

Fang smiled. "Yes. I will go talk to her."

Fang ran out of the cave and found Lana. "Hello." he said as he approached her.

Lana's ears stood up as she heard walking near her, and remained alert when a male hyena approached. "Hello-" She replied, scanning the body in front of her.

Fang smiled. "I'm Fang." he said. "I'm the Alpha of one of the Hyena packs. My striped hyena son, Tiger, told me what happened."

Lana's ears flicked, and her face must have contorted to one of confusion. "Oh, was he yours? It was an odd event actually, he just ran into me - and ran away, I barely had time to ask if he was okay." She murmured.

Fang laughed. "Yep, he's a strange one." he said, smiling.

Lana's paw reared as she realized what this must be about. "A-am I too close too your den site?" She asked.
