Dagger, though more the 'stand off-ish' type, lingered close and comfortably to Blair as she spoke. As she took charge of the situation, he took the opportunity to admire her stance and natural ability to lead without the company of her companion/ mate. Most mates of the Alpha, would stand down and allow the Alpha to reign amongst the pack alone and as a individual; But those few Faes that actually choose to step up and commit to the role of Alphes, were/are worth that of recognition in Daggers eyes....

Blair, though calm, spoke firmly and in a formal, approachable manner. She seemed a little lost for words, as she began to speak, but as she carried out, with the rest of the sentence, he began to understand why.

I' obviously putting to much thought into this, but I just honestly don't know what to think. "

Blair nodded, listening to the Brute's thinking out loud. She couldn't keep from smiling, poor thing. It truly wasn't that difficult. Finally Dagger accepted her offer. Part way. Wise choice. Tell me, what are your abilities?" partly curious to see what all Dagger could do. Blair waited for a response, blue eyes wandering here and there, though eventually making there way back to the brute as they meandered through camp. White fur slightly bounced at each step she took alongside Dagger, who now seemed somewhat comfortable. Then a thought, 'Where was he going anyway? for a travel great enough to risk getting attacked in an unknown territory, it must have been a great one.'
