Hi, my name is Lillian. But please don't call me that because I prefer Lily. Well anyway, if you can't tell I am a female, and I am a yellow and white Border Collie. I know right!? Probably haven't seen many Border Collies with the same color as me before! I am also three years young, because I don't like to consider myself old. Us dogs can't think like that.

I would say my best trait is the fact that I'm sweet. I mean I know that is probably weird for me to say about myself, but you can't say it about every dog. I like to help out as many dogs as I can, and I am not one to judge before getting to know someone better. I only judge on the personality.

My worst trait may be that I'm a bit oblivious to certain things. I can be slow at times and not understand what people are saying. Like this one time, this dog totally liked me, and I had no idea. It was kinda awkward... Anyway, I am also pretty gullible. I will believe anything anyone says, just because I never suspect someone of lying. I don't see why anyone would have the need to lie.

Now on to my history. I don't enjoy to talk about my past very much, not because it was traumatic, but because I don't like to live in the past. I had a pretty good past actually, until I was brought to the sanctuary. When I was a puppy I was adopted out to a lovely home. My master was a women, and she had two pups who loved me as well. They let me sleep on their bed, chew on their shoes; everything was great. That is, until the day everyone fled. These guys in big suits came and took me, and reluctantly I let them. I wasn't scared of humans, nor was I aggressive towards them. However, that didn't stop them from putting me in a cage. Soon though, they released me into a large environment with all the dogs. I can't tell you much more after that because it is the present. I am now living in this enclosure, without my humans to help me and protect me.

Lastly, you may be wondering about my love life. I don't really like anyone... no one has really caught my attention. Although, I have always dreamed of having a mate. The idea of always having someone who cares about you just excites me.

Hello, I'm Thor. My owner is kind of a Marvel superhero junky, so that is where I got my name Anyway, I am a brute, and I am a brindle German Shepherd. I am not very old, only being two and a half years old. I don't like talking much so I'm done with this part.

I would say my best trait is the fact that I'm a smart dog. I am no idiot, even though some may think so. I am able to think out the zaniest solutions to problems, and they usually work. If you challenge me in a game of wits, expect to loose.

My worst trait may be that I'm a bit hostile. I am not one to make friends, nor am I one to want friends. Usually other brutes annoy me. They are too interested in themselves which is ridiculous. No one is perfect, so don't act like you are. I like being a loner, it is comfortable to me. I don't have to worry about anyone else but myself. I will occasionally flirt with females; hey, they are females. What else is a guy supposed to do?

Now my history. My owner adopted me off of the streets when I was just a pup. I was born into a bad household, with a bad man who just wanted money. He got two German Shepherds from an adoption center, and that's how I was born. Nobody wanted me because I wasn't outgoing and unique, I was very shy and would rather play with my toys than someone else. So he abandoned me. Left me on the streets to fend for myself. Luckily, dog catchers found me. I know, that doesn't sound good but it was for me. They brought me to a pound that was a lot nicer than my old home. Not perfect, but better. One day my owner came in, looking for a big dog like me. He didn't care about my shyness, he wanted me anyway. It was probably one of the happiest moments of my life to have a real home. I lived with him for most of my life after that, and soon I joined the police force. I was a big dog and perfect for the job. My favorite part was being able to bite the bad guys. Anyway, my happy ending soon fled when my owner did the same. He fled, left me to care for myself with big guys in suits coming to get me. I was angry, and I knew these guys were bad. So of course, I bit them. Hard. This all in all wasn't a good impression on them, and they gave me a shot and I was soon fast asleep. I woke up in a large forest, and as I peered around I saw dogs running past me in panic. I still have no idea exactly where I am, or why.

Lastly, my love life. I am not one to there say, "settle down." I like to flirt with a few females once in a while, but I am not looking for a mate. I don't have the ability to genuinely care for someone other than myself. It doesn't come naturally to me.

the large male heard the sound of the bell. it was not feeding time, it was time for the opening of the sanctuary. he could hear the sound of the keepers coming by and checking the gates and fences to ensure there was no way the dog could get out or humans could get in. the sound of the lock jiggling caused him to rise. they never stood there and struggled to unlock it for more than a few seconds. he let out a loud bellowing bark. his voice sounded through the entire enclosure. he never slept inside the house, so he slept underneath a tree. his eyes scanned towards the keeper gate and he noticed that it was a different boy. luckily he wore the same uniform, so he was not so concerned. he barked one more time to see if he would look and noticed he did. the boy waved before ensure it was locked and walked away.

My name is Mersey River, its some river in Canada. You can call me Mersey or River it really doesn't matter. I'm a pitbull as you can tell and I'm very proud of it, I am white with blue grey spots. Now I know what you're thinking, Pitbull its going to kill us all. Give it a rest would ya? The worst I'm going to do is wag my tail and bark, I am not the viscous thats for sure.

Well I like to keep to myself, my thoughts. I think better that way, I like to process things through my head before I take action. I'm a very observant dog, usually always seeing things before others or knowing when something is different before the other dogs even know. I kind of have a temper on me, I don't put up with pampered little pups. They just drive me crazy, I am not a fan of Labs, Border Collies, or Golden Retrievers. I can't stand them but I would never really voice that, maybe if I was in a argument but never randomly, I'm not a gossipy dog ether. I can be a bit mean but I would never hurt a another dog unless they were challenging me. I'm more of a tomboy, I love getting myself in the mud and dirty. I hate being brushed,cleaned and pampered, none of that, I hate it. I'm a really nice dog when you get to know me, even if I don't like your breed I usually will be nice to you. I'm smart but I'm no genius. I know my right from wrongs and I'm not idiot.

Well I was born in a shelter and was adopted by a cop and his family, they had two kids that I would risk my life for. I would risk my life for anyone of them, they were my family and I would do whatever it took to see them laugh and smile. The day everyone had to leave was the most scariest moment of my life, all I could think was protecting my family and thats what I did. I wouldn't let anybody lay a hand on Mia and Jackson, I was angry and I looked like a wild animal. The humans in suits were trying to get me to come out of the room but I wouldn't, they tried to get a choke leash on me but I simply avoided it. They soon had a dog, a big nasty one that was barking at me. He didn't look like he was there to help. I calmed myself down and I let my humans out of the room and before I knew it the man in suits tranquillized me.
I was put under heavy observation to see if I was a viscous dog like back at the house but once I wasn't scared, I became pretty happy and started wagging my tail and letting them rub my belly. I was still upset about my people but I knew I had to get over it. So long story short I'm here and I couldn't be happier.

I really don't have a crush on anybody at the moment and I'm in no hurry to find one ether, love sometimes seems like a waist of time. So for now I don't need it.

Whats Up? Well my name is Gunshot, weird name I know. You don't hear to many names like that very often. I was named by my owner, he was a hunter and I kept on bringing his gun so I earned the name Gunshot. I alway chewed on the wood part of it so I'd get in trouble. I am a Australian Cattle Dog, born and raised in Australia so I got a bit of an accent.

I am very protective always protecting the ones I care about, if you ever insult or hurt someone that is close to me then I will make sure you never do it again. I'm energetic, god you can't calm me down. I'm always the first up in the morning and I'm usually the last to go in for bed. I love racing other dogs and doing agility, they're my favourite things to do. I'm cautious, you could say. I'm usually trying to avoid danger and stuff, or if I think there's glass or something I'm cautious like that too. I've been told I'm a pretty brave soul, give me a dare and I'm not afraid to do it, something new and I'll try it first if you let me. You might not think of me as an intelligent dog but I am. I was trained to round cattle back in Australia so you had to be a smart dog for the job. I can be slightly aggressive, not so much with females but with other males. I don't take kindly to them sometimes, I'm a really laid back dog and I'm always open to new friends its just sometimes I become slightly aggressive but thats just my nature, I had to be aggressive to herd cattle. I am pretty flirty with females and I've been told I'm quite charming so you can catch me flirting here and there sometimes.

Like I said I was born in Australia and I was a herding dog. Some dogs go "Like a Border Colloe?" I simply laugh and say border collies have it easy. All they do is nip at the small little sheep's feet, Cattle dogs deal with the bulls so nothing like a Border Collie. I Spent most of my life in Australia until the kid of the house moved out and I got to go with him, me and him were close so I was very happy I got to go with my human. It was cool to move and get out, see new things, it was a lot different from home but it was fine.
What really confused me was when my human had to leave and these weird humans in suits came to get me. Well at first they couldn't catch me, I ran. I ran down the streets and sidewalks running as fast as my paws could take me, which was fast but some guy got a leash on me and I was stuck. No matter how hard I pulled at the thing it wouldn't come off, finally I calmed down enough for them to put me in a cage. Bla bla bla bla, so many days later I was here and I have to say life here isn't that bad.

As for my love life.....well I got a thing for Noella and a small thing for Hunter but shhhhhhh. Don't tell.
