Saphira hears a lion response to her roars. By now since she hasn't been able to catch food you could clearly see the out line of her bones. She roars one more time then cautiously pads towards where she heard the response come from. As saphira got closer she could smell the lion and lioness. She was now on their territory, this made saphira nervous since she didn't know what they were like. On their territory she lets out asmall roar keeping her eyes peeled for movement.

I slowly stand once I hear her roars and call to get again, alittle louder. It was getting pitch black dark out, I would hope she would make it to us in time to have a safe place to sleep.

At her response, Tau seemed rather pleased. He had gained another lioness into his pride. Stepping forward, he rubbed himself against his new lioness to mark and claim her. Seeing as he had two lionesses, he decided it would be a good time to grow their pride and have cubs. Though, he would have to find a time to do so later and ask the queen for her opinion. "Welcome to my pride then." He spoke, lifting his gaze to search for Sahala. He had seen her go in the direction of the zebra herd. "Follow me- the queen of my pride is hunting, and we need to join her." He insisted, beginning to pad in the direction of the zebra herd. Hearing a roar from another male lion, he flicked his tail in annoyance and continued in the direction of the herd of zebras. He wouldn't go near the other male's territory since he did not want a fight breaking out.

Hearing the roar, Bast focused her attention on the distant area from where the roar came from. She remained silent, tail flicking against the ground as she waited. Once the roar sounded closer, she pushed herself into a sitting up position. Glancing over at Luka, she wondered if he would approach the lone lioness or wait for her to make an appearance. Turning her head away from the king, she waited for the lion to appear.

Kiana rubbed against Tau as well, mixing their scents together. She nodded, following Tau as they walked through the territory. She admired the nice piece if land he had claimed, and she decided she would feel safe raising a family here. She saw that they were headed towards the zebra, and spotted another lioness. That must be the queen Tau had mentioned.

Tara lounged in the tall grasses, near a small water hole. She flicked the flies from her pelt with her long tail, and lay sprawled out on her side, a golden tan speck in a huge savannah. She was feeling fairly content, having stolen a cheetah's kill, and feeling no need to hunt or drink at the moment. Rolling over onto her belly, she lifted her head and looked around. She could hear the calls of lions looking for lionesses, though did not feel attracted to any one in particular. She knew that it was better to let one of them come to her, than to go chasing after them. She was an experienced lioness, with sharp hunting skills as well as mothering skills. As most lionesses were, she was in heat currently, and was quite certain she would be found eventually. She was interested in joining a pride anyhow, and being a lone lioness she did not have to worry at the moment about and males challenging her king. She sat up and let out a soft call, letting the lions nearby know that she was indeed interested in joining a pride, however not desperate.

Saphira's eyes we a little adjusted to the dark. The lion's and lioness' scents were stronger. She then could make out two shapes not far at all, maybe ten feet away. She saw it was the lion and lioness. She lets out a small call to the lion and lioness. She looked at the two, ready to run if anything bad happened.

I finally see the lioness, I slowly make my way towards her, and let out a small call to let her know she was welcome, and wouldn't be harmed. I wait a distance away to see if she would approach the rest of the way to me. I wait calmly and patiently, flicking my tail slowly.

Hearing the lions call that I wouldn't be harmed I approached the two. My eyes were focused on the two. The outline of hip and rib bones were showing, but my muscles helped cover that. Even though I was alone for a while I had a strong muscle build up. I let out a quiet call to the two, I was now directly in front of them.

I look at the lioness and twitch my ear. "Hello, I am Luka, king of this territory, and who might you be?" I say with a flick of my tail and a small smile.

I look at the lion my attention on him as he spoke. "uh.. I'm saphira." I say with a low and respectful tone. I was still nervous, since I didn't know these lions. My ears twitched as I watched the two.

Seeing Sahala in the distance along with the herd of zebra, Tau lowered himself onto his stomach and began to crawl. He had to make sure he wouldn't be noticed by the zebra. He flicked his tail, pausing once he was close to his queen. He waited for the new lioness to join them. He knew that his queen would be pleased to see a new lioness with him.

Spotting the lone lioness, Bast pushed herself to her paws and padded over to stand next to the king. She examined the lioness- noticing how skinny she was. She flicked her tail, listening to Luka talk to this lone lioness. Hopefully she would be willing to join this pride.
