"nice to meet you as well," Kiana responded, returning the greeting. At his question, she pondered his offer for a moment. He seemed like a strong, healthy lion, and he did have a territory marked out and he also had another lioness. "Sure, I'll be in your pride," Kiana decided, smiling at her new king..

Tara lounged in the tall grasses, near a small water hole. She flicked the flies from her pelt with her long tail, and lay sprawled out on her side, a golden tan speck in a huge savannah. She was feeling fairly content, having stolen a cheetah's kill, and feeling no need to hunt or drink at the moment. Rolling over onto her belly, she lifted her head and looked around. She could hear the calls of lions looking for lionesses, though did not feel attracted to any one in particular. She knew that it was better to let one of them come to her, than to go chasing after them. She was an experienced lioness, with sharp hunting skills as well as mothering skills. As most lionesses were, she was in heat currently, and was quite certain she would be found eventually. She was interested in joining a pride anyhow, and being a lone lioness she did not have to worry at the moment about and males challenging her king. She sat up and let out a soft call, letting the lions nearby know that she was indeed interested in joining a pride, however not desperate.

At her response, Tau seemed rather pleased. He had gained another lioness into his pride. Stepping forward, he rubbed himself against his new lioness to mark and claim her. Seeing as he had two lionesses, he decided it would be a good time to grow their pride and have cubs. Though, he would have to find a time to do so later and ask the queen for her opinion. "Welcome to my pride then." He spoke, lifting his gaze to search for Sahala. He had seen her go in the direction of the zebra herd. "Follow me- the queen of my pride is hunting, and we need to join her." He insisted, beginning to pad in the direction of the zebra herd. Hearing a roar from another male lion, he flicked his tail in annoyance and continued in the direction of the herd of zebras. He wouldn't go near the other male's territory since he did not want a fight breaking out.

Bast's ears twitched, hearing Luka's loud roar. After she had her fill, she padded over to Luka and began to clean herself. She licked the blood from her maw and around her paws. She would keep watch while Luka had his fill of the wildebeest they hunted. Spotting Lira, she watched the lioness, but she didn't make any attempt to approach her. She flicked her tail, eyes gazing across the plains to make sure that they wouldn't be in any danger. Hopefully no hyenas would try to approach them and steal their kill. Her eyes narrowed at the thought of the beasts. She hated hyenas with a strong passion.

I watch as Bast finishes and takes her place as guard. I curl my lip a bit and attack the killed prey. I tore off the best part of the leg muscle, then aimed for the abdomen. After I had finished with what I had eaten, I left the rest for the lone lioness, or for the buzzards. I stand and lick my lips, beginning to stride back to the main pride territory. I stepped with long strides and bulky shoulders, as I was a pretty healthy lion, but I wasn't nearly the best in the land. I shake my main and waht the sun begin to set.

Bast licked at her bloodied paws, eyes gazing around the large plains. Lowering her paw to the ground, she waited for the king to finish eating their kill. When he began to pad back to the territory, she padded along side him. As they walked, she briefly rubbed her head against his bulky shoulder. She seemed content due to eating and filling her stomach. So far, it seemed like she and Luka were doing well on their own. But, she hoped for more lionesses to join the pride. It would be much easier to hunt if there were more of them.

Saphira paces over towards a watering hole. She studies the water before taking a drink, the could be dangers lurking under the water. Seeing no danger she takes a few gulps then walks to the shade of a near by tree. Under the tree she lets out a few roars that could be heard for miles.

I smile as Bast comes alongside me and rubs her head against me. I look around as I was walking and noticed the orange sky with a hint of purple. The stars began to appear slowly, along with the half moon. As we return to the main land, I make my place in the tall grass to sleep in. I lay my head on my paws and yawn, flicking my tail, yet still watching our surroundings.

Once they returned to the pride lands, Bast laid in the tall grass. Her eyes squinted as a yawn escaped her maws. Shaking her head, she rested her head on her large paws. She listened to the sounds of animals waking up in the night to hunt. Her tail flicked against the ground at the sound of distant hyenas. They weren't near the pride land, but they were close. She assumed they were coming for the kill she and Luka had hunted down. Her ears twitched, trying to pick up on any other sounds in the area.

Saphira's stomach growls. At night was her time. She started to prowl looking at listening for anything. She searched for what seemed like hours, so she gave up. Giving up she let out another loud roar, to ward of hyena. Her being a lone lioness would most likely have trouble with hyena. She sat down, her ears twitching and flicking searching for any type of sound.

I quickly shoot my head up at the sound of a roar, it wasn't close, but it wasn't far. I look at Bast and then the direction of the roar, it was clearly a lioness. I let out a couple of loud chuffs to her, incase she wanted to find our pride.
