Sahala shrugged and began to settle down in the grass next to her sensing that she didn't really want to be caught by Tau watching the other pride. "I know the feeling." She sighed looking away for a moment. She had angered one male by telling him that she belonged in another pride, yet angered the other by confessing about meeting with another king. The lioness knew it was her own fault, but wasn't ready to admit it. Her tail gently stirred the grass stems behind her as she waited in silence, staring out ahead of them.

I stop and turn, heading back to the pride and sitting down a distance away from them. I curl my tail around myself and pull my ears back, just blankly starin at the ground.

I offer a small smile to her and slowly ease myself back down, crossing my paws again. "They both seem to be very fond of you." I say with a small chuckle. "You're Tau's favorite lioness, he doesn't really notice the others, but I guess it doesn't really bother me, I was alone for 3 years of my life, I'm used to it, and males never really seemed to offer me anything anyway, except a home and a mate I suppose." I say, not taking my eyes off of Luka. "The lionesses in his pride aren't all that bad, either." I say with a small hushed tone. "I've spoken with one." I say with a small chuckle again, knowing Tau wouldn't approve.

Sahala showed a slight smile as she turned to the other lioness. She felt completely at ease here. "I don't think that's true anymore." She murmured as Sarina mentioned her being Tau's favourite lioness. "He probably does notice you, just there's been too much drama recently." She replied, moving her head so that her eyes could rest on Luka. "I know." The lioness paused, debating on whether or not to spill out how she had met and spoken with Luka. "I've spoken with Luka a few times too and not in an aggressive way. He wants me in his pride, but won't force me to go there. When he straight up asked me and I replied of the vague answer that I belonged with Tau after I had started this pride with him and I could see the hurt in Luka's eyes. It was as if he loved me like I was his top lioness..." She trailed off wondering if she had said too much. "I just don't know where my heart lies anymore."

Another smile crept along my muzzle as the lioness felt comfortable enough around me to share her story. "The feeling of home to me is.. When you get that feeling of freedom and comfort, where you know that this is where your heart is pointing you to all this time. And when you get that feeling of peace and tranquility, then you'll know." I say and pause. "With your situation it's kind of like you feel torn between the two." I listen to her, and note the quote that Luka didn't force her to join him. "The short time that I knew him, he was never much like the other males. He was never foreful or aggressive. It was like he just wanted to be someone that everyone wanted to be around." I pause and sigh, I felt like it was time to tell the lioness how I knew all of this.

Lira had fallen behind the male lion. She had heard his name was 'Tau'. Hearing Luka's roar, as soon as he saw Tau with me, gave me chills up my spine. Jogging, we finally stopped in front of the ragging Luka. She blurted out, " Luka I should have known better, and I shouldn't have said those things. I'm terribly sorry and I didn't mean to run to Tau's pride, I just wasn't sure where to go... ". Her ears fell back and she looked at the ground scuffing and shuffling her paws in the sand. " I didn't mean to start a skirmish... ", she murmured.

I look up to her, expressionless. "It didn't bother me, that you ran to the edge of the pride lands." I say and frown a bit, lookin at my paws. "It bothered me that you said you might go off with another male and leave my pride.." I say, of course any king would feel crushed knowing any of his lionesses wanted to leave that way. I pull my ears back and continue staring at the ground.

Sahala pricked her ears up as she listed to the other lioness speak. She sat quitely and pondered over her words. A place of peace and tranquillity? She looked down at her paws remembering how uneasy she had felt when returning to Tau after being relaxed while speaking with the opposite pride. She shuddered and began to listen as Sarina carried on. The lioness flicked an ear and cocked her head in a questioning way when she mentioned knowing Luka for a short time. "You seem to know him so well, were you in the other pride at one point?"

I look at Lira and sigh. "It's fine."

I look to my paws and smile faintly. "Luka.. Is my brother." I say, it came out smoothly, as if she already knew. "I haven't spoken to him in three years, we weren't very close as cubs, and he doesn't even know who I am, or that I even exist anymore." I say and sigh sadly. I notice the lioness that had caused him the frustration approach him, I stretch my neck to get a better look and frown.

Sahala's eyes widened as Sarina confessed to being the lion's brother. "Wow, I'm surprised you can recognise him. I mean, many other lions could be called Luka too you know." She stretched out her front paws, watching as the lioness approached Luka ahead of them. She looked like she was really regretting something. Blinking, the lioness stared out into the open plain wondering what they were saying.
