Sharingan bobbed his head attentively as he listened to both politely. He could sense the cautious vibe coming off the first speaker and Sharingan quickly back tracked, realizing that he needed to be kinder. However, the second mare was witty and to him, seemed a little amused at him. She was the sort to have a very compact, in depth conversation with. "I'm a stallion." Sharingan replied curtly to her, giving a small smile. "Though I do hope to not become the very stallion I resent, I also hope to show that I'm not to be treated with disrespect." As if an example was needed of what he disliked, the mare Zaria snapped at him and Sharingan let his ears flick make, his eyes flashing with hurt. "I hope to not have offended you my dear. You seem to have already assumed I am rude and nasty which brings me to think you've had a bad past with my gender. You also assumed I am a stud. You have no right." Sharingan wasn't speaking with any anger. If anything, his voice was reserved as if he had realized that reasoning with her could prove useless. "Perhaos you two ladies would offer me the chance of showing you the better side of my gender's persona?" The way Sharingan had asked for them to come so formally almost hid the entire question. But Sharingan felt sure that their intellect was high enough that they would understand.

Her rotund belly swaying dangerously as Cheshire choppily trotted along a deer tail, the mares ears were pinned in irritation. So many smells invaded her nose and overwhelmed her. The large weight she carried upset her back and the flies had taken advantage of her lack of speed, settling on her back and biting at her. Cheshire's tail lashed at them mercilessly but it was no use. They simply moved out of reach and resumed their attack. And the final addition to her bad day was the increasing amount of stallions. They were everywhere and Cheshire could not help but fear the life of her unborn foal. She did not wish it to be a colt but even a filly was in danger of being killed. Cheshire had no protection, no herd mate to help keep the flies away and offer her safety. She wished for a stallion more than anything but her motherly instinct prevented her from seeking one out. Instead, she was to hide and bear all the stress alone.
Cheshire let out a small whinny of desperation as she finally plunged into the steam to try and rid herself of the flies and heat. The water only went up to her knees but using her hooves to splash water up allowed her to rid herself of the flies. Another whinny came from her but it was of relief. She finally managed to look at her surrounding, not finding anyone around her at the moment. Hopefully it would stay that way.

Rolling her eyes at the cackling coyotes, she feign lunged, sending them scattering only for them to regroup and crowd her again. They did not attack they had no chance against the fiery mare. But they still felt the need to pester her. Cerberus did not understand the tongue of canines all that well but it didn't take a genius to see what they were laughing at. She-devil, deformed, freak, all familiar words Cerberus had heard before. They no longer hurt her like that had once. She had come to terms with her breed and was actually proud of her oddly curved ears. Sure, they did look strange but they were the mark of a noble breed. However, the noise of the coyotes was what bothered her and she again lunged, this time clipping the leg of a canine. The force of the equine was enough to make the coyote yelp and cry dramatically. It made it's pack members pause, watching it with only slight concern.
That was the only chance the dazzling mare needed.
Charging forward, she broke through their lines and galloped off, her tail streaming as if to mock them and her head high and triumphant. No way would she be going back there any time soon. Her heat scent spread like a trail straight to her but Cerberus was too caught up in her victory to care or notice at the moment.

    name// Cobalt Bullet[ Lee ]
    age// seven
    gender// stallion
    breed// lusitano x mustang

« hello fascination »

    disposition// lee is not what you would call an aggressive stallion nor is he the sensitive loving type. lee knows how mares work and often adjusts his technique to best suit the mare he is trying to obtain. this doesn't make him manipulative, simply adaptive and very observant. he doesn't mean he will always get the mare so lee has long adjusted himself to losing mares either.
    sometimes he doesn't give up easily since lee has a lot of pride and what ticks him off the most are the mares that always tease him about his loss. that is normally when he can get hostile.
    lee is not one you want to see angry. he becomes blinded and will use his brute force to get his way. once he gets what he wants, lee does settle down again and become considerate, making an effort to get to know his company before they jump to whether they'll get along or not.
    he is protective, loyal, temperamental but overall, a good stallion. his intentions aren't bad.

    description// lee has a very solid and compact body. his neck is thick and powerful while his legs are long and muscled. he has a handsome pale palomino coat with two white socks on his hind legs and a blaze down his nose.

« disenchanted »

    rank// bachelor
    mares// none yet
    offspring// none yet
    kin// a full brother, he was a twin

"I am a bay thoroughbred, Mustang x Saddlebred cross. Each of my legs are dark brown, getting darker as they go down. At the bottom is a short white sock, this appears on three of the four. My body is lighter than my legs, but not by much. I have a white star at the center of my forehead. I stand about 15.3 HH, short for what was expected of me. My tail and mane are both a shimmering black, which I am proud of. I am pure muscle, no part of me is not tight with it. I am a power house and enjoy using my strong legs to race the wind."
p e r s o n a l i t y ::
"I am the 'difficult one' the one that 'could never be tamed'. I couldn't agree more. I was stubborn, but only because it annoyed my trainer. I bucked, kicked, nipped, and reared. They payed for multiple top-notch trainers, each ended up in the same place, not around me. I behaved and pretended to like my owner, but when he seemed satisfied I would do something to make him angry, change my lead without being asked, buck when asked to pick up my pace, shy from a jump. He was promised a completely calm and submissive filly when he bought me, only to get a fiery, disobedient mare. I'm not just like this to people though, apparently all of my barn mates hate being near me. My trainers didn't give up, they pushed me hard. One was particularly bad, he tried beating me into submission. In turn, I bucked him off and reared up on him, of course I didn't land him, don't ask me why I didn't. My name was once Angel, but it was changed shortly after my training began. Nobody enjoys my company, yes it can be lonely, other times i'm glad. I hate being told what to do. That's probably why I'm alone. I don't take kindly to being second in command."
h i s t o r y ::
"From the beginning? Alright, you asked for it. My parents were high-class show horses. My mom was a racer who suffered a leg injury and was taken off the track to heal. My father was a Saddlebred who just happened to be showing in the town my mother was healing in. It was a bad idea, but my previous owner bought a breeding from the owner of the saddlebred's owner. So, after 10 months, I was born. They had expected me to be very tall, considering my mother was 16hh and my father was 17.2hh. I was very small, but much prettier than they had thought I was going to be. I was bought shortly after I was weaned. My new owner immediately started training me for show jumping and dressage. I hated it and disobeyed every command I was given. They wanted me to trot, i'd gallop, they wanted me to pivot, i'd buck. I went threw several 'expert' trainers, each time ended with them saying there was no hope for me. I just laughed at them. I overheard my owner talking about sending me to auction, but then it would just have been a waste of time and money that he had spent on me. So, as a last resort, he tried working with me himself. Only for him to give up, just like the rest. He talked to the borders and trainers, asking what to do about me. 'Sell her, sell her!" was their response. So, he did. A trailer arrived a few days later to pick me up. My new owner led me out of the barn and towards the trailer. It smelled awful, cows, pigs, other horses. Too many scents. I pulled away with all my might, bucking, rearing, thrashing, until I felt slack on the other end of the line. My instinct was to run, so I did, and I never stopped."

"I'm not quite sure what I am. I've been called blue, grey, speckled, flea bitten, paint, pinto. Call me what you want, just don't call me late for dinner. I guess my 'actual' color is called Blue Roan. But that doesn't explain my paint markings, I don't know, it's complicated. I have an all white face and a blue right eye. I have four socks, they go up past my knee. My tail is white at the base, then changes to black, and is finally brown by the tip and base of my tail. My mane is white and black."

"Well it isn't that interesting. I was born to a small herd in the crook of two mountains. My fathers name was King of The Wind, so I was named after him. As I got older I was seen as a threat and my father kicked me out of the herd. It happens to every wild born colt so I didn't feel to bad. Basically I've been alone for the last three years, yes I've made friends along the way, but none have stuck around for long. "

Zaria rolled her eyes. She wasn't impressed . She asked," What makes you any different?" She added," I shall not tell you what happened to me with my last stallion, and you will never know." She looked to dany ,and was surprised that she hasn't said anything to the stallion.

    He folded his ears against his head, expressing his dissatisfaction with himself that he was startled the mare. At least she called back to him, but Rain could clearly tell from the tone of her voice that she was frightened. It looked like Rain would have to convince her that he meant no harm if he wanted to have a chance to get to know more about her.
    With a swish of his tail to summon his courage, he took another few steps forward. Rain kept his pace slow and steady, and paid careful attention to his body language. He kept his posture nonthreatening, doing away with shows of dominance, but being sure not to appear so submissive that the mare would think he was unsure of himself.
    Rain paused briefly, looking her over and searching for signs that she was relaxing before he risked approaching her further. The last thing he wanted to do was scare her off.
