Nicola focused on the boy she had seen but he was probably just passing by like most did."Well to be honest,I actually don't mind who we meet but probably the girl and boy over there," Nicola answered with a smile as she was glad to be here with Lisa and her dogs soon to be others as well which had got her even more happier.When all the sudden Nicola had heard a soft growl come from one of the dogs,but not just any of them it just had to be Max,she sighed gently and immediately she rushed over to him as she had quickly looked over at Lisa to see if she was coming.Once she had got close enough to Max she quickly wrapped her arms around Max's neck,gently but enough to restrain him as she would normally hold onto his collar but it was far too hard to grab it while he was like this.However the pup had suddenly settled down,Nicola sighed in relief and petted him gently as he calmed down and went towards the dog again but this time she had watched him carefully.Suddenly Nicola hears another girl talking to her,obviously the owner of the dog Max had growled at,once she had heard her apologizing and talking to her she had nodded at the girl."It's fine,honestly I have had worse with Max since he is kind of like that with other dogs especially around me,but being a ex street dog I can see why he acts like that since you took him in and probably the bad experiences he had.But like you said about the threats,trust me Max isn't a threat however he normally does that when he is nervous and because he came from a family where they had left him that's just how he acts.Anyway I am more than sorry since Max made the first move,but apart from that I'm Nicola," she said kindly with a smile on her face as she was willing to forget about the scene that had just happened.Although Nicola nodded as Lisa had spoke to the girl and introduced herself happily,she listened to them as she kept her mind focused on Max and hopefully wondering if he would behave now.

Max looked at the male in front of him he had appeared to be baring his teeth at him,trying to keep calm but the tension in the room was too strong and hard to control.The pup pinned his ears as he bared his teeth for a brief moment when he had seen the other dog try to power him and puffing out his chest,he whimpered silently as he had suddenly heard Casper speak about making a scene,"I wasn't planning on any kind of scene nor fight," he barked to Casper in a calm and kind manner.But once again the brute had felt the tension around the room causing his fur to bristle,suddenly he had felt Nicola's arms around his neck as she restrained him from the other dog while the male had the same happen to him,Max didn't struggle as he never wanted to hurt anyone here unless provoked which was a rare chance.The pup pinned his ears gently and turned to Nicola as he licked her hand gently,although he had soon seen the husky again since Nicola had pulled him towards the others the black and white brute controlled himself.Max had finally calmed down and for Nicola and the rest he decided he would be civil toward the other dogs to make things better again,soon he saw the male walk up to him and sniff him,yet his tail was still raised as was Max's but he knew he had only wanted trust with this male.He sniffed the other dog in return as he had dipped his head in respect towards the rather large male as he was a inch bigger than him,but since he was still a pup at a year old he was still developing his growth and by the time he would be two he would probably be the size of the rest around here.
