I got out of the house, and locked the door behind me. Ace and Snowstorm were closely walking behind me. I walked down the streets, toward the race place. Only a few people were there yet, I wondered what will happen at the race. I knew well enough how dangerous these kind of races can be, but that never stopped me from participating in them.

He watched from a distance, a lone figure that stood with his back against a brick wall. He wore a black hoody, with black skinny jeans and his hood puled down over his face. He liked this look, no one bothered him then. After all, you had no idea what a tall dark stranger who hung around on street corners was capable off. A thick mane of coal black hair fell over his eyes as he tilted his head upwards slightly. Feet planted squarely, hands in pockets, chest thrust out, from this angle only his chin is visible beneath his hood.

Nicola sighed in relief as she had looked outside and had seen her gorgeous companion,Max.She got up and had decided to go out so she could down to the streets and the race area to sign up and hopefully participate in the race she had dreamed of entering,Nicola laughed gently to herself as she had seen her gorgeous boy walking beside her and feeling his fur against her hand as she stroked him.Soon enough they had arrived there and seeing a few people Nicola was prepared to meet them and make some friends as she watched Max carefully hoping he wouldn't be overly protective towards the other male huskies in this area,her eyes had soon caught sight of a girl with two huskies,both of course were beautiful.Nicola smiled and waved to her as she was willing to possibly get to know the girl more and maybe even her dogs since they were amazingly beautiful,however she knew these races were dangerous and all but it was worth a try especially for Max."Hey,I'm Nicola," she greeted her kindly as she stroked Max's neck.

She smiled at the girl, happy to finally meet someone. "Hi, I'm Lisa. This is Ace and Snowstorm. She said, introducing herself and the two huskies. "You have a nice dog," she complemented her and watched as her two huskies went closer to the other dog. Ace started smelling the other dog, and barked happily to a new friend.

Nicola kept her smile on her face as she was filled with happiness to meet such a nice girl and nice dogs."Well it is great to meet you and your dogs are gorgeous," she said kindly as she had nodded to their names since they had cool names for dogs."Oh yeah that reminded me,this guy here is Max," Nicola told her as she watched the three dogs and smiled widely as Max was being rather nice towards the other dogs.

Max wagged his tail rapidly as he looked at the two huskies and sniffed Ace and Snowstorm as he could feel them sniffing too,the pup barked happily at them both as he was excited to meet such friendly huskies that his owner was friends with.The pup knew inside that he was more than happy to have seen these dogs although he would normally go off and bark being overly protective of Nicola he stayed calm and just smelt the two dogs.

Jessica turned her head and brushed her long red hair from her eyes. She noticed the lone figure, her brother, standing there. She nodded and gave him a half smile. She admired him for his bad-boy attitude, yet she didn't know how he suffered these things, she only partly guessed.

Shadow
The sleek, mahogany-coloured husky's eyes darted watchfully around the landscape before resting on Beau. Shadow slowly got to his feet and sidled over to him, his tailed swayed slowly from side to side as he walked.

"So, are you joining the race?" She asked, trying to bring up a subject. "Or are you going to watch?" She wondered what the answer would be. Anyway, she liked her, she was nice and kind. Lisa turned around and saw another girl, who was looking at a dark figure. She thought maybe they could meet them later. She turned back to Nicola and smiled.

A small half smile painted itself on Beau's face as his sister made herself present. He was going through bad memories which always put a downer on his day; but Jess was his sunshine. 'You ready to get your butt kicked?' he joked with a slight glint in his eye. As though only just realising his best mate wasn't in his usual position by his side, Beau straightened himself and cast an eye around the area.

Casper bounded towards Max, the thought of there being a new dog around overwhelmed the young male Tail held high and with a spring in his step he circled the huskie before deciding he posed as no threat to him. [wb]

Jess smirked and stood, hands in her pockets, her hood covering most of her head. She walked over to him "I s'pose we better join in the race. Why the hell not? It'll be a laugh" she said, leaning against the wall beside him. She cast her eyes on Casper running towards the two girls and their dogs. "Hey, who are they? They must be here for the race too."

He watched as Casper bounded up to the other dogs. He raised his tail so it curled like an akita's as he stood stiffly to the side, his eyes fixed on the others.

His hand slid down the back of Shadow's neck, reassuring the dog before he cast a critique eye over the new comers. His eyes quickly swept past the small group before landing on an emo guy with black hair, a red huskie standing by. Realising he was staring he pulled his eyesight away from him.
