((Sure, a time skip sounds fine! 8D))
Jerome
Sleep had come much easier to Jerome than it had nights prior, almost, it felt like it welcomed him with open arms. He slept undisturbed by the routine nightmares that tormented him normally in his sleep, it confused him, but he was grateful nonetheless. His body sent a surge of energy coursing through his veins and he jerked awake, almost as if his brain naturally initiated a kick start to get him moving. Jerome's amber gaze rose and took in the surroundings about him, they were still in the den, and surprisingly enough, still dry. He yawned and gazed tiredly back to Cassidy who slept beside him, they both were unharmed, so whatever that thing they saw hours before didn't get too curious. Jerome stood and bowed in stretch, pulling his tired muscles so they would loosen, and allow him easier movement. He went about his stretches, and when he finished, he walked to the dens entrance and poked his head out to get a view of the area. It was still raining, but appeared to be light in the forest, it could be falling heavier outside. He frowned, if it continued to rain constantly, the streets below would flood sooner or later, what then? As he stood in thought, a large drop of water struck his nostril and he sneezed, shaking his head after.

no one understands what Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is. Unless you have it yourself.
