"Earlier today," Slade replied. A cold raindrop hit his nose, the clouds overhead threatening to release their moisture. He noticed that there was shame in her posture now, and he lowered his tail. When Kutsuu padded up and requested Titanium's name, Slade felt his muscles tighten. He hoped that this wouldn't alarm the other alpha; aggression was the last thing he needed in his camp. Not to mention that Titanium was alone; it wouldn't be a fair fight, if one should happen. Choose your words carefully, Kutsuu, Slade thought silently.

The few shuddered at the thought of rain as a drop bounced off Slade's nose. What a waste of time! And now she had to walk home in the rain! she turned toward the brute asking for her name and looked him over. He was at least half the size of her, not quite as big as Slade, but a big brute. She didn't let that unsettle her, her eyes rolled at his straight-forward tone to her. "Titanium, Alpha Titanium of the Pack of the Falling Stars." She smirked, hoping shock would register on his face.
What normal minded Alpha would stroll into a pack of her rivals and question their leader? Well, she defiantly wasn't normal. And there was the fact of death, it had never really bothered her before. Her pack was the only important thing in her life, and if she died it wouldn't matter. She had Faolan to succeed her.

His muscles relaxed as the attention now turned to Kutsuu. Slade hoped that the fae-crazy brute wouldn't start hitting on the rival alpha. The last thing I need is enemy romance. Several thoughts raced through his head, some of them including Sirius. I bet that smug brute would try anything if given the chance. His thoughts shifted to focus on how the older wolf would handle something like forbidden love. It doesn't matter, he chided himself. Don't compare yourself to the wolf who gave you that scar. After all, Slade's goal was to be the figuratively bigger wolf and avoid dwelling on the past. Guess I'm not doing a very good job on that.

(A misconception about the border has lead to Falling Stars' alpha, Titanium, entering Whispering Pines camp and questioning Slade. He revealed to her that Nova, one of Falling Stars' wolves, was the culprit who marked past the border into WP territory. Slade plans on hunting later on, and it's cloudy and starting to rain.)

Kutsuu looked back at Slade, glaring at him.
"Whats happening?" He barked, coldly.

The small she-wolf turned to Slade, curious at how the other Alpha would broach this disrespect. She couldn't help but notice how handsome he was. Why didn't he have a mate...? She shook the thoughts out of her head an instant later. How foolish of her to be admiring her enemy's looks! And what brute would like her? The sad cold hearted Alpha of the Falling Stars Pack, everybody pitied her not admired her beauty! With a sad sigh she recalled her almost death, yes, her world was a cruel one. Her head turned back towards reality as the downpour began, drenching her and the two brutes almost instantly. She shuddered again, the rain was a reminder of that night.
It was quite silly actually the only think the scared the small white fea was rain, there was supposedly a good reason for it. But that was something she would keep to herself.

Slade turned his amber gaze to his subordinate, his eyes hardening. "Watch your attitude, Kutsuu, or I'll deliver you personally to the Falling Stars wolves. I'm sure they'd be grateful for a chew toy." He suppressed a smug grin toward Titanium, wondering if she also found humour in that. Rain spattered down on their pelts, and Slade shook his with a huff of annoyance. Not only was it uncomfortable, but it meant that hunting would have to wait; while Slade could detect scents a mile away, he wasn't so sure that his pack would be able to locate prey scents being masked by the rain. He turned his attention back to Titanium, keeping Kutsuu in his peripheral. "Are we done here then?"

My name is Splint. My fur is red with speckles of white. http://i457.photobucket.com/albums/qq29 ... edwolf.jpg My eyes are a dark green and I am a fae (she-wolf). I do have scars here and there with nicks in my ears from previous fights. My tail is long and most of the time is flowing behind me. I always keep my jay feather with me because my brother gave it to be before he died of a powerful sickness.

*GETTING TO KNOW ME*

I am extremely shy at first, but when you get to know me I can be flirty, and tease a lot. I can also be serious, and sharp tongued. I am very strong for a she-wolf so if you offer I fight, usually I don't back down. Fighting for what I love is my best priority.

*DIGGING DEEPER*

Its very hard to get to know the true inside of Splint, you have to earn either her trust, or her heart. Her history is quite cruel. She was in a pack far away, near the cold mountains.Her mother froze to death after a individual fight with a hawk, nobody even attempted to help her, she wasn't even an omega, they just disliked her because of her hatred for the Alpha, Zephyr. Her father died bravely as he defended the pups from a bear along the journey to find a new home after half of the pack got froze to death. She fell in love once, but only to watch in anger and sorrow, that he took another Fae. Being an outcast she fled her pack after the beta Sharp convinced Zephyr into slavery. She has been alone for years and is not very fond of new wolves. Now today she stumbled upon Whispering Pines Pack, determined to start a new healthy life.
