Rune looked down, he could never bring himself to kill a little foal, the only time he would have thought to kill would be if a stallion was truly going to kill him or his family first. " I would never do such a barbaric thing. Stallions are meant to be kind and loving to their herd, to treat their mares and foals with respect and love" he nickered, truly speaking from his heart.



Trinity Bay

Trinity thought for a moment, she had been trying to escape the ranch for so long. So she could be free on the plains once more. How did she know this stallion wouldn't just keep her like his trophy, not letting her have any freedom. " How do I know you won't be one of those horrid mare collecting stallions, who cares not for his mares feelings only how many he can get and how many foals they will make?" She asked in a slightly less nasty tone.



Flaming Vortex

Vortex recoiled with an angry snort, how dare this MARE bite him! " I will show you mare!" He snapped. He lunged forth and gave her a good hard bite on the withers. " You bite me and I will bite you back even harder!" He said in rage.

Dreamweaver replied," I'll let you have all the freedom you want ,and you can tell me your feel, and I will care for your feelings, I promise. He nickered softly ,hoping he stated enough to ,have her with him as his lead.

Zaria said,"You seem a million times better than that animal Benji."She snorted contently, and gave him a soft nuzzle. SHe somewhat trusted him ,not fully yet

Pearl's sky blue eyes showed a fire, and said,"You ruined my coat " She turned to face the stud eye to eye. She smirked," Well, bay boy , you have a name, don't you."

Rune relaxed as he felt her nuzzle him back softly, she still seemed wary but who could blame her after what she had just told him. No are should have had to go through that. " If you wanted...you could stay with me? I would protect you no matter what and I would treat you right" he nickered softly.




Trinity Bay

Trinity sighed and thought about herd life. Maybe, even though she wasn't the most sociable mare, it would probably be nice to have some horses to talk to and watch her back. " Okay, fine. I have some conditions and if you really respect my option you will comply. I don't want you constantly hovering over me, afraid I will be snaked away or killed by some predator, I can handle myself and will call if I need help. I want to be lead mare, I am not going to be bossed about by some other mare and I will have a foal when I am ready, don't pressure me" she nickered.

Flaming Vortex

Vortex killed his eyes, " We'll you ruined mine" he snapped. He was surprised to see she was suddenly less angry. " Yes, my name is Flaming Vortex, Vortex for short. What is your name?" He grumbled.

Dreamweaver answered, "You have your conditions." He gave her a shy nuzzle on her shoulder..

Zaria nickered, "You would, I can see in your eyes, that you mean well." She relaxed all the way, and whispered, "I'll say with you, Rune, if Benji comes back, kill him, please , he doesn't deserve to live."

Pearl's growled, "Angelic Pearl and I am no Angel, and I go by Pearl." She stamped her hoof down . She snapped," Don't ruin my coat ,again Vortex you will see what hell is, if you do it again." She glared at him.

history: he left his parents a long time ago at the age of 3,and by the time he was 4 he had snaked four mares , from various herds from older stallions, and forced them to have his foals against their will ,including Zaria. But Zaria was a loner at the time. he killed most the foals ,because they were weak ,including Zaria's filly, and now he seeks Zaria, and wants her back.

Rune was unsure about killing another horse but it seemed that Benjii didn't deserve life. " Okay Zaria. I will take care of you and if that stallion shows up....he will regret it" he nickered.




Trinity Bay

Trinity was surprised he had agreed. Most stallions would have just tried to force her to do as they wished. " Maybe you are not s bad" she nickered at last, allowing him to nuzzle her. Most stallions would have gotten a nasty bite but...Dream was special.





Flaming Vortex

Vortex smiled, " So Pearl, you gonna join me?" He asked, his dark eyes glinting. He liked this mare, a lot. She would be a great lead for an aggressive herd like his would be.

Dreamweaver answered," You will not reget,it Trinity,and I promise." He asked," So where would you like to go?".

Zaria gave a soft ,yet happy nicker. she whispered, "Thank you ,Rune.' She nuzzled him ,and began to graze ,next to him. She flicked her tail at the annoying flies that were biting her.

Pearl took a step forwards, and looked him up and down. She replied," Well as long as I am your favorite, you have a deal." She flicked her scented tail on purpose to tease him. She gave him a vicious grin at him.

Rune nuzzled Zaria back, he would make sure nothing ever happened to her. He began to graze, flicking his tail, swishing between flicking the flies of himself and flicking of Zaria's flies. Rune was so happy that Zaria had joined him, they would be a great herd.


Trinity Bay

Trinity smiled slightly, " I hope so" she whinnied. She tentatively nosed Dream, not quite the best at the whole showing affection thing. " Hmm, we should find a nice valley" she whickered.


Flaming Vortex

Vortex grinned, " How could YOU not be my favourite?" He nickered with a grin. Her scent hit his nose and he shook his head, prancing on the spot. He walked over and nosed her hip, asking that she have his foal.

Dreamweaver nosed her back and lead her to the next to the one that the were in it had a few flowers growing in it. he asked silently, with a silent jester of his asking here was okay .

Zaria looked up ,and looked around and wanted to move away from here. she whickered softly that she was ready.

Pearl nipped him softly to say "yes." She relaxed for vortex so he could mount her..

Rune nodded and nosed Zaria's shoulder gently. Where could the two of them go? It had to be somewhere Zaria and himself liked. With lots of food, cover and a place to drink. A place the two of them and maybe...one day a foal, could live happily. He started to walk, checking to see that Zaria was coming. He would find them a good home.


Trinity Bay

Trinity took a few long steps into the meadow, her eyes flicking over her surroundings. "Yes, I like this place" she announced with a small grin. She shook out her mane and gave a few little bucks of joy, then dropped her muzzle to the grass. It was good thick, tasty grass and she let out a soft sigh of happiness as she chewed it.


Flaming Vortex

Vortex shook his head, even he, a strong and brutal stallion would have trouble with THIS mare. He nosed Pearl and snorted - fade- their foal would be tuff. He smiled at Pearl, they would be the most viscous herd on the plains.
