I Callie I
Maybe Callie wouldn't be able to fight, but she could do the talking. She limped forward, after giving the other male dog who had asked if she was okay, a small nod, to say she was fine. She towered over Blaze, while the dog who had saved her held her down.
"Hi there, friend, I believe I have a few things to say to you," Callie said, with a smile, and tilted her head. "I understand I was 'in your way', earlier, and I apologize. But, you have to understand something here. We're all of the same species here. We may be of different breeds, and different backgrounds, but that is no reason to go and harm, a dog like me, who has nothing against a dog like you." Callie said, as she paced around Blaze, slightly limping. "None of this needed to happen, no, it didn't. And, I could let you slide, with a warning, and you telling me, you'll never, ever," Callie said, then dipping her head close to Blaze's. "ever, hurt another dog around these here parts."
