you ran. so did everybody else. you knew you were in immediate danger and had to escape. dog snatchers are growing in population and more dogs are being swiped by the minute. thousands of canines are seperated; it's a dog's life. many are stranded in the highlands, while others venture meadows, forests and get lost in streets and alleys. wherever they go, a snatcher will surely be on their tail. some escape, while others are captured and held hostage. will you find love, and have pups? or will you make enemies and be chased, not just by snatchers, but other dogs? you'll have to wait and see...

this is lad's name is apollo, named after the god of sun, light, and music, though he never really showed much interest in any of these things. he has no specific nicknames, and mainly goes by apollo.

apollo is a brave, kind soul who is protective over his loved ones. despite being quiet and not talking much, he is a good listener and socializes well. being brave is something he's proud of, and wouldn't be scared of swimming into a deep lake that no one else has been in. that's how much of a daredevil he really is, even if he doesn't show it. he listens and obeys very well, and it is very rare to see him disobey something. this can be a flaw or a strength, depending on the situation. speaking of flaws, everyone has them, so does apollo. apollo doesn't adapt well to change, and a new environment means a lot of stress for this guy. it takes a long time to get him used to a new place, and until he does, he ends up talking a lot less and being stressed a lot more. so, in all, apollo is a brave, caring dog who obeys pretty much anything anyone says.

apollo was born into a wealthy breeder's home, with three other dogs, his brother and two sisters. it was an even litter of two boys and two girls, the second born being apollo. apollo wasn't special. he wasn't different from any other dog; just normal. he'd whine, drink his mother's milk, sleep, and repeat it the next day. but the breeder seemed to be very stressed. she didn't want these puppies that weren't special, that wouldn't make as much money as all her other puppies. in fact, she thought every puppy she bred after this litter would be just plain, not money-makers. so she had to get rid of them somehow. if they wouldn't sell, she'd somehow get them out of her house. so one day, she grabbed all the puppies and their mother for a "nice car-ride", and dumped them at a junk yard. they survived, and soon apollo's mother died of natural causes. all four of the now full-grown dogs went their separate ways, and now apollo's here.

lucy was born into a family of eight on july 4th. it was the perfect weather; warm and bright, just like the girl lucy grew to be. she grew close to her family until it was time to go to her forever home, where she thought would be a lovely place. after spending a year with a lady and her husband, she started noticing she was being treated poorly. for two days her food bowl was empty and her water was gone. she spend two days and one night starving, until the man gave her food and water, all while in a bad mood. she heard yelling in the room her humans slept in, and then it stopped for a while. things went back to normal, and then one night, she noticed her lady was getting rounder; a baby was clearly on it's way. the man was stressed, however. spending countless nights estimating how much money was left and how much they needed. then one day, they just threw her out. right at the city, where cars honked and angry people ran. they figured that if she was hit by a car, at least it'd be a fast death. but little did they know lucy was still alive and well; and promised never to trust a human again. despite the rough past, lucy forgave everything; except the humans, of course. she grew to forget the hard past and look forward to a better future.
