Shade rolled her eyes and went to catch up with Flame.

Baron padded around his old pack grounds. He soon got a little tired and started to head back. He turned around to get a last look, and then started heading back. He went back to Frost and laid next to her to keep her warm.

Frost snuggled against him,"Were did you go?"she asked sleepily

"Where i, where my old pack used to be" he replied. He yawned .

Frost perked up,"You had a pack?what happened to thenm??"she wondered

Barons ears dropped 'I-I I let them.." He stuttered in a sad voice "Let them, get, hunted...." He finished.

"Oh Baron!don't be silly!,how can you let them get hunted? I dint think so!I don't believe you"she scoffed

Flame waited for Shade,he was holding a juicy groundhog in his mouth

Baron looked away "I sat there and watched it....." He laid his head on his paws and looked at the sky.

Baron winced just remembering it "I came back from hunting, which I did everyday. We all ate and then got all tired. We started getting settled, when I saw a hunter, the others were all running, panicking, but I, I just sat and froze like a fool. He got a couple of them, and the rest his giant pack of dogs got. I got away, after he aimed his thing at me. I was the last one he was going to get,the last one. And I got away." He said, it pained him just remembering.
