"Nice to meet you.. Night," she meowed, watching him with uncertainty. She eventually deemed him to be safe, at least for the moment. "And thank you for allowing me to stay here, even if it's only a temporary stay," she added, dipping her head appreciatively. She really did need a break since she had been running around all day. She laid down in a corner. As she relaxed, she watched the tom curiously, but she didn't say anything.

Ash laughed softly. "It's fine," he replied. He looked around the forest, his ears perked. The forest wasn't full, but it wasn't empty either. He could hear the faint song of a bird in the distance. He sniffed around to try and get the scent of prey, and soon he could smell a mouse. His eyes flashing with eager anticipation, he crouched and stalked toward the smell. He could now see the mouse, nibbling on a seed and unaware of the predator a few feet away.
Ash cleared the distance with two long bounds and crouched once again. He pounced on the mouse as soon as it noticed him and bit down into it. He kept his teeth clamped into the small body until it died. When he finished, he returned to Anastasia and presented the mouse to her. It wasn't much, but it should help with her hunger for now.

She smiled slightly as she recalled the memories with the kit. She could remember clearly the time when Lithium was just a small kit, and now he was almost a grown cat.
