Dakota slipped out of the den and yawned softly, Smiling at both Joey and her mate.

I smile, "If you catch one you may be a hunter." I say, tail wagging. "I give you good luck, Joey." I say.

I shrug, shaking my pelt. I would talk to him later.

I am yanked from my sleep at the desperate bark of Leaf, "Lea-" I stop, about to ask her what was wrong when the scent of blood reaches my nose. I turn serious, running over to the herbs and grabbing several in my jaws and running out. I skid to a stop in front of Max, "What happened?" I ask the fae by him, keeping my attention to Max as I rip the stem off a herb and push the juice from the middle onto a large wound on his side. "That may sting a tiny bit." I warn him, working on another cut.

I nod padding off into the apprentice den and laying down. I yawned sleepily then closed my eyes.

I walk off, sighing softly. I take a double take back to the den before walking across a makeshift bridge over a small creek. I crept low as I heard a rustle in the bushes. Rabbit. I jumped up, smashing the small animal under my paws, and I grabbed it in my jaws, digging a hole to come back later to grab it. I continued my search for prey, but come up empty. That rabbit was small and looked starved itself, so it wouldn't give much, but it was something. I returned back to my prey, digging it back up and walking back to Ellie, dropping it by her, "Here." I say, yawning.

Dakota huffed gently and laid down on her belly, Her fox-like tail curling around her side before looking toward Koda, Tilting her head slightly.

Max was awoken from his pain from a stinging in his side. He flinched but couldn't move. He just layed there, trying to be still. "..Fi..ght..." He whispered.

Leaf ran up with some cobwebs in her mouth, trying to be useful. "Is there anything I can do?" She asked franticly.

Joey nodded, "Thank you." He said and trotted out of the camp. He opened his jaws for any sign of prey. A bunny scurried around by a tree, looking for something to eat. Carefully he stepped into the bushes beside it waiting for the right moment. Finally when it starts digging he sneaks up very silently behind and then pushes off his hind legs and pounced! He back feet landed on his neck, breaking it and then killing it instantly. He grabbed it in his jaws and walked back to camp, head high.

As Joey hobbled off, I lick Dakota's forehead, smiling. I lay down by her, twining my black and brown tail with hers. "How are you, love?" I ask her with a smile.

I shrug, shaking my pelt. I would talk to him later.

I take the cobwebs from Leaf, "Go tell Koda what had happened, but he doesn't need to come here." I say, looking to Max, "They were chased off, right?" I ask.

Dakota giggled, "Fine love." She replied simply, Snuggling up to him before licking his cheek, Her tail twitching slightly.

Joey walked back into camp a little later and brought up his kill to Alpha Koda and Alpha Dakota. "I caught some prey." He said to them, setting down the bunny in front of them.

Leaf nodded and ran up to the alpha den. She skidded to a halt beside them. "Father! Um... well Brid wanted me to tell you that Max was in a fight and he is collapsed on the ground in the center of the camp entrance. But... I... uh think he's going to be fine!" She said quickly.

Max nodded, "One was chased off, the other two are dead." He murmured.

I nod, smiling as I put my head by hers, closing my eyes as I rested. My ears perk up as I hear a voice. Joey. I look up, smiling, "Congratulations, Joey. You are now an official hunter of the Shaded Creek Pack." I say, ears flicking. I quickly turn to Leaf as she bounds over. My eyes widen at her words and I quickly stand, "What!" I bark. A small snarl breaches in my chest as I bolt over to Max. I looked at the injured male, ears pinning half to my head as I get to hear him say the dogs were gone. I calm a small bit as I stomp my paw in anger. "Get well, Max." I simply say and walking into the woods. I snarl, getting a strong whiff of other dogs, mixed with blood. I see a large Doberman, standing by the two who have died, "what do you think you're doing?" I snarl, he puts his ears to his head and lowers it, in a sigh of submission, "Get out of my face!" I growl, lunging forward and nipping him harshly on the side as he runs off. I look to the dead dogs, "And good ridence." I say, turning and walking off.

I wrap my paws in cobweb as I patch his wounds that were freshly cleaned. "Alright, now, you're done. But you must stay in the healer's den so I can keep an eye on you." I explain, turning as Koda walks over and then storms off into the woods, "Alpha Koda!" I bark, trying to get him to turn back but he keeps running. My ears flatten to my head as I shake my head and help Max up, "Come on, let's go get you comfortable." I say.
