Pyro lept from the cans, hissing at Solitare again. "Survival is NOT a game." She walked over to the restaurant's gutter, lapping up the water that dripped quickly to the ground. "You didn't expect to be scolded for taking food?" She looked around, wondering if she should stay or leave the sassy cat and Jessibelle. She hoped she hadn't offended Jessibelle by saying she wasn't as 'city-worn.' She looked fell fed and groomed, so she had guessed she didn't come to these parts often. She glanced at her, wondering what she was thinking.

"All the more the reason why she shouldn't have stolen!" Pyro's ears flattened after the pause. "Fights are an everyday thing, you-" She stopped, letting out a breath. "Fine. I'll stop 'fighting.' Sorry." Her voice returned to its usual soft feminine tone. She sat by the gutter, looking at the other cats in silence.

enough not to keep arguing like she
was doing. Especially not in front of
a due feline, and so she sat in silen-
ce and stared down at the floor with
her sapphire blue eyes narrowed. Ho-
w she'd always wanted a kitten. Slow-
ly and cautiously licking her whiskers
free of meat, she let out a long, dra-
ping sigh and laid on her side.

"There's shelter everywhere if you know where to look." The female started lightly, with a hint of a sigh. "I normally sleep under bushes or in a discarded box I could find." Pyro twitched her tail and lapped up the water again. She flattened her ears as a droplet fell on her head from higher on the roof. She shook it off, backing away from the gutter. She crouched by a hole in the wall, scenting mice. She stayed there, obviously not expecting a mouse to pop out, but peering into the dark hole with squinted eyes."I normally stay in this alley," she said, with suggested invitation in her voice."That is, if you wanted to stay here~"
