Shane watched as all the prey scattered then saw the brute that was causing them to do so. He gave a small growl in annoyance since this was the second time today that he was not able to hunt. He stood where he was and watched as the other male became territorial over the meal. Shane just watched before stepping out into the clearing, nostrils flaring as he tried to located the scents of the rabbits and also who might this male be. The brute kept a respectable distance away from the other as he searched, though keeping an eye on the black brute just decided to attack.

Kite watched the trio before looking to Frey when he started talking. She nodded her head "Yes, I have been traveling though I have been here for a little longer then I usually am." She said, her tail flicking to her sides calmly. "I would usually be gone by now though there is plenty of prey here." She added.
"I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death
And I fear no evil
because I'm blind to it all
And my mind and my gun
they comfort me
Because I know I'll kill my enemies
when they come
Surely goodness and mercy will follow me
all the days of my life
And I will dwell on this earth forever more
Said, I walk beside the still waters
and they restore my soul
But I can't walk on the path of the right
because I'm wrong."

Self lifted her head, and saw the lone elk about a mile away, trotting slightly lopsided. She lowered herself to her belly, surveying the distance, size and condition of the cow. It was rather hard with her vision that displayed too-bright images; but she was able to tell the elk was a young one, with a wounded limb. She looked back at Kenai, flicking her tail to signal for him to crouch beside her. "This should be an easy meal. Maybe we could drag her back a bit closer to camp before the sun starts to set." She swiped her tongue over her nose and muzzle. She glanced up at the sky, seeing it was a little past noon. Her red-orange irises revealed silver/blue from deep in her optics as she glanced around. She didn't know if this was visible, no one ever told her. She absently wondered how long until her eyesight would hold until she saw all white images. Maybe even grow blind? She shook her head of the thought. She was still very young, and had a pack to worry about. She never depended much on sight anyway.

Sobeck

Sobeck smiled at Brie. "We'll see you in a bit." He had meant to gesture to both of them, but guessed Brie had other things to do~ He had gotten in the way of her chase after all. He started walking along the border, marking more frequently to ensure no mistakes were made. He vowed not to let the next loner go so lightly. He glanced at Tundra. "What do you think of the loners here?" he asked, wanting to start a conversation. "I wonder if he knew we were already here for ages. Some of us grew up here, even." He continued walking, rubbing the scent glands in his paws (wolves have scent glands between their toes, but same thing) in the tall grasses, leaving the Polaris scent behind.

Frey

"Where are you traveling to?" Frey swallowed his bite, swiping blood from his nose and muzzle with his tongue. He helped Rio split the deer hide, glad they will have resistance from the cold. "It's getting colder here by the day. Do you have anywhere to stay?"

Kite shrugged "Anywhere, I guess." She said. Her nosed twitched slightly at the smell of blood and fresh meat. She looked away for a moment to ignore the need to scavenge the prey. She looked back to Frey "No but I will find a place to stay, either and an abandon den or rabbit hole."

Crow huffed and tore into the foal. The meat was good, but soon, after he had had his fill, he'd have to leave it. He was on a pack's territoy after all. The brute knew that Shane was of no pack. He didn't have the sent and it was obvious. If he was a pack wolf he would have been all over Crow by now for tesspassing. Instead he was trying to find the rabbits that have long past scurried into their dens. He snorted and waved his tail. Once Crow had finished his much he stood and shook his fur and licked his chops. A few drops of the deer's blood fell from his muzzle as he backed to Shane. "Take the rest." He indicates the foal. "Before the pack comes."

→Sarennalyn;←
Sarennalyn bristled, she shook out her fur in attempt to make herself look bigger. She took at step forward as a growl emitted from her throat, she lifted her tail slightly high as she showed herself.

→Kenai;←
Kenai glanced at the young elk, he swished his tail as he crouched beside his alpha. Seeing this elk made him think of his first elk hunt. The memory still ran fresh through his mind. He remembered walking on clumsy legs, his mouth open as his tongue lolled in excitement as if he had just heard a joke. The scent of elk ran through his nostrils, at first he was clueless to what the smell was. Should it be satisfying or upsetting? He remembered his strong father standing beside him. Eyeing his father's movements, his breathing, his nose twitching. Kenai never wanted to fail in front of his father, he wanted his father to be proud. His father was a strong wolf, a powerful one, but at the end it was love that tore him down. Kenai roughly shook his head as he snapped back into focus. That was the past, and it must always stay the past. Sarennalyn always taunted him for thinking about the past, she always thought he was weak. Well he wasn't. And he was most certainly going to impress his alpha.

Self

Self waited for the elk to circle back to them. The animal started to graze on nearby vegetation. "Perfect," Self commented. Bush and vegetation led a trail that provided cover fairly close to the target. The cow elk rested her faulty limb in a folded position behind her. Self guessed it would cause her to trip if they used the element of surprise. Flicking her tail, she began to descend gracefully down the hill, letting the dark vegetation cover up and hide her snow-white pelt.

Frey

Frey thought for a bit, looking down at the skinned deer carcass."Your more then welcome to join us, if you wish. And, don't be shy, go ahead and eat~"

Anywhere! Self and Kenai are open, they are hunting. Maybe Tyrell could stumble over them and join? Sobeck was asking Tundra questions, and Frey was talking to Kite with Sadie and Rio c:

Kenai tilted his head sideways before casting a glance at his alpha. The brute's tail swished as he slowly crept forward on silent paws. " You make the call." He said gently as he waited for her command to attack. By now the scent of the elk was intoxicating, pride began to bubble deep within his stomach. His muscles rippled under his pelt as he tensed with excitement. Hunting was always one of his favorite things to do, along with fighting which also suited his interests way more than hunting or anything else at that.
